Brown's Cabin and Cottages are situated on a
pecan nut farm in Scheerpoort, situated in the North West region
of South Africa. These self catering units all have uninterrupted views of the magnificent
Magaliesberg mountain range. There are a variety of activities in the area such as hot air ballooning,
restaurants, walking with elephants, monkey sanctuary, game drives,
art galleries, horse riding, African Curio Market and a nearby cheese
farm. |

Browns Cabin and Cottage Accommodation
Brown's Self-catering Cabin
This quaint, wooden cabin includes two bedrooms, each with a double bed,
open-plan lounge and kitchen area with stove, microwave and fridge, DStv
is compact only, bathroom with bath and an outside patio with uninterrupted
mountain views. Suitable for families, the cottage has its own garden,
which is fenced off, or friends travelling together.
Braai facilities are available.
Fully-equipped/self-catering.
There is also an outside bush shower to cool down during summertime.
Brown’s Self-catering Cottage
Perfect for a romantic getaway, the cottage sleeps two adults and includes
one bedroom with queen-size bed, open-plan lounge and kitchen area with
stove, microwave and fridge, large bathroom with bath and separate shower,
fireplace, DStv compact only and outside patio with uninterrupted views
of the mountain.
Braai facilities are available.
Fully equipped and is self-catering.
De Wets Self-catering Cottage
Semi-detached cottage, open-plan design consisting of a sleeping area
with king-size bed or two singles, sitting area kitchenette with mini
stove, microwave and bar fridge and bathroom with shower.
Stoep with uninterrupted views of Magaliesberg Mountain.
Marilyn's Self-catering Room
This bedroom en-suite is part of the main farmhouse but has its own entrance
and private patio with mountain views. Consists of one bedroom with queen-size
bed, large bathroom with luxurious bath, bar fridge, tea and coffee making
facilities and full DStv.
We find that this room is most popular with one night visitors that are
attending weddings in the area or are joining family that are staying
in the cabin or cottage.
Pecan Self-catering Cottage
Semi-detached cottage, open-plan design consisting of a sleeping area
with double bed, the sitting area including a single bed, kitchenette
with mini stove, microwave and bar fridge and bathroom with shower.
Stoep with uninterrupted views of Magaliesberg Mountain.
Braai facilities are available.
TV with SABC 1/2/3, e-TV and a super sport highlights channel.
