Hippo Hollow Country Estate is situated outside Hazyview on the Sabi River between the Drakensberg mountains to the west and the low-lying bushveld to the west.
It is the ideal destination from which to access the reserves of the Lowveld and the sights of Mpumalanga.

Hippo Hollow Country Estate Accommodation

We offer 37 thatched chalets that are en-suite and equipped for semi self catering.
The chalets each have a gas braai, kitchenette area with tea / coffee facilities and 20 of the chalets have 2 beds each whilst the rest have 4 beds with twin beds in the loft.
There are 26 hotel rooms equipped with private balconies overlooking the Sabi River and picturesque gardens.

How To Get To Hippo Hollow Country Estate

From Johannesburg or Pretoria
Take the N12 or N4 highway to Nelspruit and White River, Then take the R40 to Hazyview. At the T - Junction turn left into Hazyview.
Cross over three stop streets and follow the Hippo Hollow signs. Just after the Sabi Road turn off, you will see the Hippo Hollow Country Estates on the left.
