Shenindor is situated just 30 minutes from Durban, 40 minutes from Durban International Airport, 2 hours from Drakensburg Resorts and only 30 minutes from the coast.
Set on the crest of a hill, just outside Hillcrest, Shenindor is a lovely country guesthouse, on 4 acres, with a panoramic view across the Assagay Valley.
We have easy access to N3 and M13 motorways yet we offer a peaceful country atmosphere, with a beautiful indigenous garden, which is home to a wide variety of birds.

Shenindor Bed and Breakfast Accommodation

Luxury Suite x1
Includes bed and breakfast, has an open en-suite bedroom with a spa bath, separate shower and a private balcony with breathtaking views across the Assagay Valley.
Other features are queen beds, hair dryer, balcony, bar fridge, radio, fan, tea / coffee facilities and smoking in the rooms is not allowed.
It is located upstairs and has mountain views.

Family Suite x 1
Includes bed and breakfast and has 2 bedrooms, 1 with a double bed and another with a single bed plus a bathroom with an overhead shower and a bath.
It has a separate toilet, hair dryer, fan, heater, tea / coffee facilities, bar fridge, TV with local channels, M-Net and DStv. Located upstairs and has mountain views, no smoking is allowed.
Self-Catering Suite x 1
Includes bed and breakfast or self catering, has 2 spacious bedrooms both with en-suite shower only bathrooms. The suite is equipped with king size beds, single beds and sleeper couches.
It has a lounge, a big balcony with panoramic views across the Assagay Valley and a kitchen. Other facilities include a hair dryer, fan, heater, bar fridge, tea / coffee facilities, radio, TV with M-Net, local channels and DStv.
Smoking is prohibited and the suite has views od the swimming pool, garden and the mountain.
Garden Cottage x 1
Can be rented out on a self catering or bed and breakfast basis. The Garden Cottage opens out onto the garden next to the pool and has an open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen area, 1 bedroom and a bathroom with bath and overhead shower.
We offer queen size beds and a sleeper couch, other features include hair dryer, fan, bar fridge, heater, radio, tea / coffee facilities, TV with M-Net, DStv and local channels. Smoking is prohibited and the cottage overlooks the garden.

How To Get To Shenindor Bed and Breakfast

From Durban International Airport
Travel north along the N2, at the Spaghetti Junction take the N3 towards Pietermaritzburg then take the M13 Alternate Route after the Pavilion Shopping Centre.
Take Exit 33 Assagay, Shongweni, Hillcrest off ramp and turn right as this will take you onto Kassier Road. Turn left onto R103 Old Main Road at the traffic lights, continue straight along Old Main Road towards Botha’s Hill and travel for approximately 5 kms (past Kearsney College, Dunrobin Nursery and Rob Roy Hotel).
Continue for half a kilometer from “ Phezulu Safari Park” then turn left onto a dirt road to Alverstone. Cross the railway line and travel up the hill, approximately 1km.
At the sharp right hand bend, go left into Falcon Drive and continue for half a km to Shenindor on the left hand side.
From Johannesburg
Take the N3 east towards Durban, after Cato Ridge take Exit 33 Assagay, Shongweni, Hillcrest off ramp and turn left as this will take you onto Kassier Road.
Turn left onto R103 Old Main Road at the traffic lights. Continue straight along Old Main Road towards Botha’s Hill and travel for approximately 5 kms (past Kearsney College, Dunrobin Nursery and Rob Roy Hotel).
