Don Don River Mill Lodge is approximately 16 km form Hobhouse, built from Sandstone, and situated on the banks of the Caledon River overlooking the Lesotho mountains.

The mill was built in 1865 and houses the original milling equipment which is still in working condition. The two self-catering stone huts overlook a dense Poplar grove and the Lesotho mountains, with the Caledon River flowing only meters away.

Wake up to the sound of the flowing river and canal, the leaves in the Poplar grove rustling in the wind and the sound of the birds - nature at its best.

Miller's Hut - Self-Catering
This hut sleeps two guests in two single beds. The bathroom has a shower. The unit has a small kitchen area. The hut overlooks the mill.

Old Shop Suite - Self-catering
There is a double bed in the main bedroom and two single beds downstairs with a sleeper couch. The bathroom has a corner bath with a shower attachment. There is a lounge area, dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. This unit is part of the old mill, and overlooks the canal and Poplar grove.
