Each thatch-roofed tree house is elevated to afford the best view of
the bush and the mountains.
There is a private covered balcony with views of the mountains, while
the inside offers either two single beds or a king sized bed.
The tree houses are en suite with a bath, sink and toilet inside and an
outside shower with breathtaking views of the bush. The loft is large
enough to sleep two adults on a king sized mattress and is tall enough,
in part of it, for an adult to stand. Linens and mozzy nets are supplied
and windows have screening and coverings.
Each tree house has plenty of electrical points and a personal safe.
The views from your private viewing deck are enchanting and the symphony
of the bush will sing you to sleep.
The tree houses also have a fully equipped kitchen that contains a refrigerator,
freezer chest, oven, microwave, two sets of burners and two double sinks.
The braai area has a swinging rack, but guests are to please bring their
own firewood; some may be available for purchase at the lodge.
Guests can dine in the boma under the stars or in the large sitting room.
The sunset deck is the perfect spot for sundowners before the braai.
Bona Ntaba is close to all of the action of the private reserves, Blyde
Canyon, Big 5 reserves and the Kruger National Park.

Directions to Bona Ntaba Tree House
The nearest airport is Eastgate, about 30 minutes from Bona Ntaba.
South African Airways offers daily flights from Johannesburg to Eastgate
Airport
From Johannesburg;
From JHB Proceed East along the N4 passing Witbank and Middleburg
Turn left onto the R540 at Belfast.
From Belfast proceed through Dullstroom to Lydenburg.
From Lydenburg take the R36 to Ohrigstad.
Stay on this road passing through the Strijdom Tunnel.
Keep on this road for 29 km until you see the sign for Swadini / Orpen
Turn right here and continue for 32 km.
Turn left at the sign for Orpen and continue 2.5 km until you see the
sign for Guernsey.
Go through the Control Gate and drive for 8.5 km until you see the Guernsey
Private Nature Reserve sign on your right
(a R40 Conservancy Fee is due per car).
Turn inside here and continue for about 2 km until you reach the reserve
gate.
Follow the Bona Ntaba signs
From Orpen Gate:
Stay on the R531 for about 40 km.
Turn right when you see the sign for Guernsey.
Go through the Control gate and drive for 8.5 km until you see the Guernsey
Private Nature Reserve sign on your right. Turn inside here and continue
for about 2 km until you reach the reserve gate.
Finally follow the Bona Ntaba signs.
From Hoedspruit:
Head South on the R40 towards Whiteriver.
After 23 km turn left when you see the Guernsey sign (just after the Cheetah
Project).
Go through the Control gate and continue on this road for about 11 km
(road becomes dirt half way).
When you reach the end of this road, turn right
After about 4 km you will see the Guernsey Private Nature Reserve sign
on your left.
Turn inside here and continue for about 2 km until you reach the reserve
gate.
Follow the Bona Ntaba signs
From Nelspruit:
Take the R40 towards White River.
Continue on the R40 towards Hazyview, Bushbuckridge, Acornhoek
Continue straight on the R 40 till you see the sign for Orpen (R531).
Turn right and continue for 2,5 km until you see the Guernsey sign.
Turn left and go through the Control Gate.
Drive for 8,5 km till you see the Guernsey Private Nature Reserve sign
on your right side.
Turn inside here and continue for about 2 km until you reach the reserve
gate.
Follow the Bona Ntaba signs
