This is where the chic of Paris meets the charm of Africa. Nestled in the heart of the small fishing village of Hout Bay, a mere 20 minutes from Cape Town city center, the newly renovated Le Marais Guest House is looking forward to welcoming you. The property is situated in a calm and secure area, and has breathtaking views of Table Mountain. It’s a replica of the traditional Cape Dutch homes, dating back to the 18th century. This H-shaped home with thatch roof includes four en-suite bedrooms and a self-catering apartment. Most of the rooms have private courtyard gardens. |

A stunning lounge is located right in the middle of the property where guests are welcome to relax and enjoy a glass of wine. A lush, tropical garden, a spacious, sunny terrace, and a large, solar-heated swimming pool complete the picture. All the rooms are en-suite, with baths and/or showers, wireless Internet access, flat screen TVs with DStv and top quality king-size beds and bedding.
Healthy breakfasts will be served on the terrace, weather permitting, or in the dining area. A three-course set dinner menu will be available upon request. Special attention was paid to the design by a young French architect, J. Caille and the interior's originality and uniqueness will charm you. Le Marais is more than a simple guest house. It should definitely be your destination.
Accommodation
Red
This is our garden suite. Red is very modern, leads directly to the garden,
and has a private terrace. The open bathroom has been integrated into
the bedroom. The toilet and showers are separate.
Rojo
The pop suite offers stunning views of Table Mountain. The bathroom, totally
open, will surprise and delight you.
Rooi
This unit consists of a bedroom, a lounge and a kitchen and leads directly
to the pool. It has a private courtyard garden.
Rosso
Our master suite has a very cosy lounge and offers stunning views of the
rear of Table Mountain.
Rouge
This is our honeymoon suite. A large bathroom has been installed in the
lounge to enhance the African touch.
