Westwood Trout Lodge Accommodation
· Small basically equipped gym.

· Large well-equipped dining room with seating, cutlery
and crockery for twelve.

Activities
Situated in a conservation area, Westwood Trout Lodge is a perfect spot for bird watching, bicycling, running and walking. We are approximately 16 kilometer drive from the Karkloof Conservation Centre and the excitement of the Karkloof Canopy Tours. Enjoy easy access to the Central Berg for day excursions.
Mountain Biking
Westwood is located in prime mountain biking country. The nearby Karkloof
valley is home to the Karkloof Classic every May and is regularly voted
as having the best single forest track in South Africa.
Karkloof Canopy Tours
The Karkloof Canopy Tour is a unique eco-experience that takes people
on a 3-hour adventure through the magnificent Karkloof indigenous forest.
The canopy tour involves traversing from one platform to another along
a steel cable suspended up to 30 meter above the forest floor.
The tour comprises seven platforms and eight slides that zig-zag down a pristine forested valley. The scenery and birdlife is spectacular and professional guides provide interesting facts about the forest ecology during the tour.
Midlands Meander
The Midlands Meander is what weavers, potters, woodcrafters, leather workers,
artists, metalworkers, box makers, herb growers, cheese makers, beer brewers
and pianos have in common. You will find them all and a great deal more
