Burnham House is located over the warm Indian Ocean with magnificent views there of and is a mere 5 minutes from the Umhlanga Beach.
We are in close proximity to the Durban CBD, sporting facilities, restaurants / shops and the International Airport accessed on the N2 is 35 minutes away.
Our accommodation is modern, stands in own garden, has secure parking and has a lovely deck where guests can relax.

How To Get To Burnham House

From the North Coast / Phinda / Shaka Land
Travel along the N2 south bound towards Durban, take exit number 182, Umhlanga / MT Edgecombe / Phoenix (North), at the traffic lights turn left onto the M41 and take the 2nd off-ramp to the left (just after going under the Millennium Bridge)
Turn left onto Umhlanga rocks drive / M12, Mcdonald’s should be on your left, drive straight through the first circle
Umhlanga hospital is on your left, turn right at the second circle, still in Umhlanga Rocks Drive, going down towards the sea.
Go through 3 sets of traffic lights, at the 3rd set, turn right (Ridge Road) and travel along Ridge Road (parallel to the sea) until you see the road sign “Rydal Place”, turn left into Rydal Place.
At the bottom of Rydal Place, turn right at the T-junction into Burnham Drive, 15 Burnham Drive is on the right hand side a short distance down the road. It is a double storey house and has an electric gate
From the Airport
Travel along the N2 north bound towards Ballito, take exit number 182, Umhlanga / MT Edgecombe / Phoenix (North)and at the traffic lights turn left onto the M41.
Take the second off-ramp to the left (just after going under the Millennium Bridge), turn left onto Umhlanga Rocks Drive / M12 and Mcdonald’s should be on your left.
Drive straight through the 1st circle, Umhlanga hospital is on your left, turn right at the 2nd circle, still in Umhlanga Rocks Drive, going down towards the sea.

From Durban
M4 north bound towards Umhlanga, take the lighthouse road / Umhlanga Rocks Drive / M12 exit, turn right down Umhlanga Rocks Drive / M12, to the 1st set of traffic lights (Ridge Road).
Turn right at these traffic lights, travel along Ridge Road (parallel to the sea) until you see the road sign “Rydal Place”.
