Seaside Cottage offers self-catering accommodation for leisure travellers, business traveller and holiday makers along the lower La Lucia beaches.
We are close to the main access roads, the Durban CBD, airport, the ICC, shopping centres, Ushaka Marine World, casinos, entertainment areas, the A1 Grand Prix racetrack and the Umhlanga Ridge Office Park.
Major tourist attractions , great restaurants, pubs, fitness centres and beaches are in close proximity.
Nearby are the magnificent Drakensberg Mountains where guests can delight in quad biking tours along the Sani Pass (passports are needed).
There are world class golf courses nearby, township tours, whale watching, game fishing, the Valley of a 1000 Hills and deep sea diving to name a few.

Seaside Cottages Accommodation

We offer 3 tastefully decorated cottages, 1 seaside cabin and these units can accommodate a maximum of 14 guests.
Seaside Cottage 1
This family unit accommodate 6 guests, is equipped with a king size bed in the main bedroom and 2 sets of bunk beds with extra thick mattresses in the open plan lounge area.
The main bedroom is equipped air conditioning, a colour TV and the bathroom has a toilet, hand basin and a shower. This cottage has a garden with a covered patio area and braai facilities.
The cottage also has a fridge, oven, air conditioning, stove, crockery / cutlery, kettle, microwave, a safe, toaster, a mini hi-fi / Cd player / radio, colour Tv with full DStv channels, a DVD player and a safe.
Guests are advised to bring their own beach towels but we do provide bath towels and linen.
Seaside Cottage 2
The cottage accommodates 6 guests, has 2 bedrooms upstairs with 2 single beds converted into king size beds in the main bedroom and the 2nd bedroom has 2 single beds.
There is a double sleeper couch downstairs, the unit is equipped with fridge, safe, colour TV with full DStv channels, crockery / cutlery, stove, oven, kettle and a toaster.
The bathroom is fitted with a hand basin, shower and a toilet, the cottage has a covered a patio with good braai facilities. Guests are advised to bring their own beach towels but we provide bath towels and linen.
Seaside Cottage 3
Accommodates 2 guests, has a king sized bed, a shower, hand basin and toilet in the bathroom. Guests are advised to bring their own beach towels but bath towels and linen are provided.
The cottage is equipped with air conditioning, a microwave, tea / coffee facilities, bar fridge, colour TV with full DStv and there are no cooking facilities. An electric frying pan can be provided upon request only.
Seaside Cabin
Accommodates up to 2 guests and is a basic rural wooden cabin with a private sundeck and is perfect for the more adventurous couples.
There is a set of bunk beds with extra thickness mattresses for comfort, a bathroom with hand basin, a shower, a toilet and they are not en-suite.
There are NO cooking facilities but there is a fan, family size fridge, a microwave, colour TV with selected DStv channels and this cabin is for those who want quality accommodation on a budget.
Guests are advised to bring their own beach towels but we do provide bath towels and linen and the cabin is NOT rated as a 4 star self catering accommodation.

How To Get To Seaside Cottages

From the Airport
Take the N2 freeway North (Stanger) for approximately 25km. Exit at 182 (Umhlanga / Mt Edgecombe / Phoenix). Turn right at traffic lights and you will be on the M41.
Carry on straight towards Durban and the freeway becomes the M4, travel for approximately 3km and take the exit at Glen Ashley / Ann Arbor Road.
Crossover stop street (Ypsilanti), turn left at the next stop street (Forest Drive) and take the first left into Forest Crescent, No.12.
From Town
Take the M4 freeway North towards Umhlanga (Stanger) for approximately 12km and take exit (Glen Ashley, Aubrey Drive).
Keep right at fork, at the stop street, turn right and pass under the bridge. At stop street turn left (Ypsilanti), at the next stop street turn right (Ann Arbor). At the next stop street, turn left (Forest Drive) and take the first left into Forest Crescent No.12.
