Accommodation facilities include 3 Self Catering Cottages & 6 en-suite rooms in the Farm House.
The Farm House
Set at the base of the Klein Swartberg mountains with beautiful views
over the farm, the Farm House has 6 en-suite bedrooms and can be divided
into two sections with 3 rooms each. The Beehive Suite has a large lounge/dining
room opening onto a covered stoep and a fully equipped kitchen and braai
facilities. The Mimosa Suite has a fully equipped kitchen, dining area
and braai facilities.
Recently renovated to a high standard we provide quality beds, linen and towels. Beautiful karoo sunsets from the outdoor braai area and a concrete dam filled with mountain mineral water to cool off in.
Breakfast: Full English OR Continental includes tea or coffee & juice
Evening Meals: (By arrangement) Farm house cooking or Traditional Karoo DIY Braai
Aloe Cottage
Large open plan with Double bed, en-suite bathroom,fully equipped kitchen
with electricity.Stoep & Braai. Bed linen and towels provided. Private
setting over-looking the farm. Dinner & Breakfast can also be served
at the cottage.
Lavender Cottage
Large bedroom with queen & single bed. En-suite bathroom, Fully equipped
kitchen. Stoep & Braai. Bed linen and towels provided. Beautiful mountain
view.
Blue Gum Cottage
Two Double bedrooms, One room with a queen & a single bed ,the other
with two three quarter beds.Fully equipped kitchen/lounge with fireplace,
gas & electric. Stoep & braai. Bed linen and towels Provided.
Shaded by giant gum trees with spectacular mountain and farm views.

- Mountain hiking and trails (all levels of fitness) lots of wildlife/indigenous

Directions
Coming from Barrydale R26:
- Distance from Ladismith: 23km
- Distance from Barrydale: ± 90km
- Just after the Right turn off to RIVERSDALE, turn left for LAINGSBURG.
Continue for approx. 10km.
- Turn left at T-Junction for LAINGSBURG (lose Cellphone reception). Continue
for approx 5km.
- Turn right into VOORBAAT (good gravel road)
- Continue for 4kms. (Rock face on the right, up a hill & down, then
around several bends)
- Continue until you see large bluegum trees and a small bridge.
- Take immediate next left (sign for Beecatcher)
- Continue (you will go past several buildings on the left and a small
farm)
- Keep straight at the fork in the road (sign for Beecatcher).
- Keep along the farm lane following the signs. You will need to open
and close one or two farm gates to get to the Beecatcher Guest Farm where
we will meet you.
Coming From Calitzdorp:
- Distance: ±78km
- Go straight through LADISMITH (past the left hand turnoff for the R62
and R62 Coffee Shop).
- Follow the road around the bend until you get to a T-JUNCTION (opposite
the golf club, rugby field on left).
- Turn left onto the LAINGSBURG road. Continue for 17 km.
- Turn right into VOORBAAT (good gravel road).
- Follow directions as above to farm.
