Lastingham Guest Lodge offers year round traditional South African hospitality. Scattered around the house in the lush gardens overlooking a dam, are individually appointed luxurious en-suite rooms designed by Lynne drawing on her 14 years’ experience as an interior designer.

Each of our bedrooms is individually decorated in traditional colonial style.The large drawing room features a huge brick fireplace and an honesty bar. In winter this is a perfect spot to relax with a glass of wine and muse over the day's meander or engage in some lively discussion.

Garden setting for your wedding reception
Wedding receptions to remember with French doors opening onto the surrounding paddock make this centre ideal for large and small wedding receptions in fabulous country garden surroundings.

We offer a fully inclusive wedding reception package that attends to every detail and your every need. Wedding ceremonies are easily arranged at nearby chapels and churches (just a few minutes away) including the famous Michaelhouse Chapel.

Conference Venue
The Lastingham conference venue is fully equipped for conferences and workshops. An hour and a quarter from Durban. Our fabulous country garden setting is also ideal for functions.

The old stables have been converted into a fully equipped conference centre. The conference facility can accommodate up to 20 people for one day conferences and workshops or smaller groups for longer getaways.

Social Functions
The conference venue and garden are ideal for business presentations, product launches, christmas lunches, family get together and club reunions.

In the heart of the 'education belt' the Lastingham functions venue is located within easy reach of schools such as Hilton, St Annes, Michaelhouse, Clifton, Kings and Treverton.

• Golf at the scenic Bosch Hoek golf course or the mildly undulating Sakubula golf course.
• Excellent trout fishing in local dams or rivers around the Kamberg. Real trout fishermen know that the Drakensberg and its foothills offer the best trout fishing in South Africa.
