Malapo Country Lodge Accommodation
We have 4 cottages set in beautifully manicured gardens, each cottage
with a private patio with stunning views and limited DStv channels.
There is 1 family cottage, 3 others each accommodate 2 adults and the
honeymoon cottage has a fireplace in a romantic setting.
Buffalo Cottage
Has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and is perfect for families. There
is a spacious lounge with a fireplace, a small kitchenette, dining area
with tea / coffee making facilities.
Elephant Cottage
Accommodates 2 guest, has a bedroom with a king size bed, en-suite
bathroom with a glass shower and it enjoys stunning views from the bedroom
and the private patio of the mountains and lakes.
There is a small lounge with a fireplace and a small kitchenette with
tea / coffee making facilities.
Lion Cottage
Is equipped with twin beds, en-suite bathroom with a bath only,
a small kitchenette with tea / coffee making facilities and has a beautiful
garden view. This cottage is perfect for overnight stop-overs.
Rhino Cottage
Is a smaller cottage with spectacular views of the lake and the
mountains from the bed. It is equipped with a double bed, modern en-suite
bathroom with a glass shower and has a shady tree over the patio.
Tea / coffee making facilities are present in the small kitchenette.

How To Get To Malapo Country Lodge
From Johannesburg and Pretoria
Take the N12 or N4 Highway to Witbank, go through the Middelburg toll
plaza and go through the Machado toll plaza. +/- 2km after passing through
the Machado toll plaza there is a turn to the left saying: N4 via Schoemanskloof
and R36 Lydenburg.
Turn left, 15 km further turn left at the old Bambi Hotel: R36 Lydenburg,
15 km further you will find a brown facility board indicating Malapo Country
Lodge. Turn left and there will be a 500m dirt road to lodge entrance.
