The Orchard on 2nd is a guest house offering six well-appointed and stylishly decorated rooms, each with en-suite bathroom. A scrumptious breakfast is included. The rooms have gleaming wooden floors, original high pressed ceilings, beautiful chandeliers, and some with fireplaces. Bathrooms have big clawfoot tubs, and the showers are tiled with natural stone, with quality fittings. All our rooms have soft, white bath sheets, and crisp white linen is of a high quality. The duvets are duck down for cold winters and warm summers. The black pool is wonderful to sit back and relax by, taking in the South African sun. |

The Orchard on 2nd is a short walk from the famous 7th Street with its fine dining and lovely little shops. You can sit on the sidewalk at one of the great restaurants, or just have a coffee while reading your paper. The area offers an information centre, antique shops, book shops, a spa, art, boutique, gift shops and more.
We are centrally located close to the CBD as well as all the major highways. We are close to the Milpark Hospital, Helen Joseph, Garden City, and Parklane Clinic. Wits, UJ, and Milpark Business School are all very close by, and OR Tambo International Airport is about 30 minutes' drive away.
