Loskop Dam
This is a Malaria-free area. There are close to 70 species of mammals
on the reserve including 3 of the 'Big Five', namely; White Rhino, Buffalo
and Leopard. Because of their dwindling numbers, Oribi, White Rhino, Buffalo
and Sable Antelope enjoy special protection. Hippo, giraffe, warthog,
many more buck and other wildlife abound in the Reserve.
Game viewing by boat with qualified guides is a highlight.
The Dam area is a bird watchers’ paradise where you will find the majestic fish eagle along with several other species of eagle and countless other birds flourishing in the natural surroundings.
The most sought after species in this dam are carp, red breasted bream, blue breasted bream, sharptooth catfish, eels, yellow fish, mudfish and many more.
The White Church
Proclaimed a historical monument, this is a landmark of the central town
area, due to its size and gracious architectural design .British soldiers
used it during the Second Anglo Boer War, which explains why it did not
get damaged like so many other churches during that time.

Botshabelo Open Air Museum
The museum is the starting-point of a number of waymarked hiking trails.The
Ndebele village is well worth a visit. This is situated close to the camping
site, at the end of the Aasvoëlkrans trail.
Little Elephant Art and Craft Market
All the people that work at the little Elephant were unemployed.None of
the artist had any formal training in artwork. They are now owners of
small shops at Midway.They hire the stalls and sell their goods to tourist.
Little elephant is a huge Tourist attraction.

GPS CO-ORDINATES : S 25 46'690 E 029 28'225
· Take the N4 south (Witbank Highway) from Pretoria to Middelburg
· From the N4 south, take the Samora Machel Street (Fontein Street)
off ramp (second off ramp) and turn left in Fontein Street
· Follow this road into Middelburg
· You will pass five stop streets until you reach the first set
of traffic lights
· The church will be on your right hand side
· Turn right at the very next four way stop into Zuid Street
· Middelburg High technical school will be on your left
· Drive down Zuid Street and pass two stop streets
· CR Swart primary school will be on your right
· After the second stop street, turn left at the third house no
29 (right opposite the rugby field)
