Amatava has 4 chalets on offer and sleeps 24 people. Guests can choose to cater themselves or be spoiled with mouth-watering dishes and custom-made menu’s prepared by Amatava's own chefs.
Chalets are equipped with en-suite shower, shared bathrooms, tea / coffee facilities, mountain and garden views, double / single beds, TV with DSTV and fans.

Matombo Lodge
Has 4x6 bed chalets, lapa with conference facility's and big screen / self-catering or catered. Ideal for small groups / team building and leisure time for the family.
Klipspringer Tent Camp
Klipspringer Camp consists of various different campsites, ablution blocks with fresh running hot and cold water, outdoor showers, a communal kitchen, splash pool and large outdoor braai area. Feel the closeness of nature. Game roam freely around the camping site. Accessible with 4x4 only.

The lodge has been stylishly decorated to create a warm and relaxed atmosphere that emits the aura and mystique of Africa. A luxury central entertainment area offers our guests colonial African elegance and hospitality at its best.
The open air lapa with dinning area, plunge pool and jacuzzi caters for the outdoor-lover on the lookout for the sky lights of Africa.
While sipping on a cocktail on the large outside deck, guests can enjoy viewing an abundance of wildlife coming to soothe their thirst at the dam on the foot of the mountain.

Nyala lodge also offers conference facilities and team building facilities for smaller focused groups of up to 24 people. Amatava is known for its fun-filled youth camps where our well-trained staff specialises in developing our youth whilst creating a sense for conservation and sustainability in them.

Wildlife viewing - Game drives, horseback- riding and guided walks offer our guests unforgettable moments. Experience an exceptionally close encounter with the majestic rhino.
Bird watching - Amatava has over 300 bird species to view. Amongst them you may find the Bronze-winged Courser, Crowned Plover, Paradise Flycatcher and many more.

4 X 4 Trails - Both vehicle and Quad riders are challenged with the mixed terrain Amatava offers. Out-rides of 40 to 80 kilometers, accompanied by a back-up vehicle, cooler box and braai necessities make these trips an unforgettable experience for both riders and spectators.

Horseback-riding & mountain-bike trails - Mountain-biking and horseback-rides on various trails offer our guests a unique experience of nature and its abundance of wildlife. Amatava is equipped to train beginners for horse-riding and teach them the principles of care and safety.

Star- gazing - Discover the southern night skies in a truly magnificent setting where the Milky Way's only rival is the amber glow of the campfire light.
Fishing - a variety of fish can be found in the waters of Amatava and close surroundings.
Paint Ball - Challenging each other in the Amatava bushveld, promises to be uniquely different and adventurous. Amatava has its own equipment and instructors offering training for beginners.

Clay Pigeon shooting and archery - Over the stretches of the Stryd-poort mountain range, you can hear the thundering of shotguns as the flying clay pigeons test its shooter's skills. Alternatively you can hear the whistle of your arrows as you take aim at our 3D targets. Amatava offers technical assistance and guidance for beginners.
