Welcome to Hlalanathi Drakensberg ResortBeautifully set in the Natal Drakensberg, with serviced chalets and spacious grassed caravan stands overlooking the Tugela River and Amphitheatre. Halfway between Gauteng and the coast, this is an ideal breakaway resort with modern facilities and sparkling ablutions. Golf enthusiasts will be pleased to know that the Amphitheatre, Golf Course is situated next door to Hlalanathi. |
|
This challenging Nine Hole boasts the Amphitheatre as a backdrop and has
been developed with minimum impact on the 'berg environment. In fact,
indigenous vegetation has been encouraged between the fairways and the
water features have attracted an array of local bird life.
Hlalanathi Drenkesberg Resort Accommodation
Guests enjoy the quaint restaurant Thyme @ the Berg with its festive pub. The now well-established gardens with the mountains as the view, entice folk to laze and relax! However, for more active, Hlalanathi boasts one of the finest golf courses.
Even if you aren't a golfer, a walk around the manicured course to enjoy the peace of the rolling terrain, the water features and bird life is a treat not to be missed. At Hlalanathi you can enjoy a top-rated resort with well-maintained facilities, reasonable prices and the opportunity to meet great people.
Hlalanathi is priveleged to be a family heritage set with the most magnificent view of the recently proclaimed UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Amphitheatre of the Natal Drakensberg Park. The farm has been in the ownership of the van Rensburg family since 1932. Hans van Rensburg for many years allowed the overflow of the Royal natal National Park campsite to camp on the property.
