Welcome to Koo Karoo Guest Lodge! The Cottage was converted from its former use some years ago as a coach house. Its still boasts many of the original features such as the barn doors, parts of old cobble stone flooring and its original stone walls. Koo Karoo Guest Lodge AccommodationThe cottage consists of a well equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge area, two separate twin bedrooms, joint bathroom with bath and shower. Its a feel home away from home destination. |

Our Guest lodge is a 100 year old Victorian house with large comfortable rooms that gives our guest space to move around, with a coach house converted into a quaint family unit full of character. Accommodation is available on both a Bed and Breakfast and self catering basis through out the year.
The cottage can accommodate up to 6 people with a double sofa bed situated in the lounge area. The lounge has television with local channels only and a heater or fan is also supplied on request. The property is centrally situated in the picturesque town of Montagu.

Location
Koo Karoo guest lodge is located in Montagu on the famous Route 62 which
provides a scenic alternative for travellers between Cape Town and the
Garden Route.
Montagu is a peaceful town steeped in history and is renowned for its spectacular rock formations, fruit orchards, vineyards and healing hot springs. There are also attractive hiking trails, wonderful rock climbing sites and a nature garden.
Two museums reflect the history of the vicinity and a herb garden contains a large number of medicinal plants found in the area. Montagu is known for its muscadel wine and four wine cellars in and around the town produce an assortment of excellent wines.
The tractor ride to the top of the Langeberg outside the town is an unforgettable experience. The healthy, unpolluted, dry air makes for a much sought after climate.
The Koo Valley, known for its fresh and dried fruit, is situated near the town. Montagu is only two hours' drive from Cape Town and within easy reach of the coast.
