Langdam in Koo Cottages Accommodation

The cottage can accommodate up to 4 people, with one double bed and two built-in-bunks. It is fully equipped with bedding, crockery, and cutlery. Open plan sleeping, living area and kitchen Fully equipped with 2 plate gas stove and fridge. En-suite bathroom (with shower) Built-in fireplace and braai area outside.

Pear Tree Cottage
The cottage can accommodate up to 4 people, with one double bed and two built-in-bunks. It is fully equipped with bedding, crockery, and cutlery. Open plan sleeping, living area and kitchen Fully equipped kitchen with 2 plate gas stove and fridge. En-suite bathroom (with shower) Built-in fireplace and braai area outside.

Apple cabin
A rustic cabin with fantastic views over the Koo valley. Apple cabin sleeps 2- 8 and has an indoor fireplace and outdoor braai area. There is an equipped kitchenette and there are 2 shower bathrooms. Sit on the verandah and relax with a glass of wine or explore the farm by walking through the orchards or bring your mountain bikes for wonderful trails with views.

Pine Tree cabin
A perfect cabin that is only available in winter. A place to escape the 'winter-blues' with your friends and family. It sleeps 6 with a double in a loft and 2 bunk beds. With huge windows in a pine tree forest one feels one has escaped from the stresses of city life.

On Site Facilities
• Self Catering facilities include: two plate gas stove, fridge and cutlery.
• Chalet is situated on a working fruit farm near to a dam.
• Swimming in solar heated reservoir and dam.
• Closely supervised children are welcome.
• Small shop on farm for basic essentials.
• Langdam farms produces jams, chutney, fig preserves and almonds all for sale on farm.

Apricot Suite
The Apricot Suit is attached to the original old farm house but with its own private entrance and balcony. It boasts lovely views over a garden and catches the morning sun.. This is a very romantic honeymoon suite. It is equipped with a 4 poster bed, free-standing bath, double shower, fully equipped kitchen including micro-wave.

Bedding and towels are included. There is an indoor fire-place and outside braai area. It is extremely secure, private and very peaceful. The bathroom overlooks the Langeberg mountains and has lovely views. This is a fully equipped self catering luxury suite.

Almond Suite
This private suite with its own entrance and garden is part of the original farmhouse built in 1912. With views over the orchards and the Langeberg mountains this self catering suite has a fully equipped kitchen, has all bedding and towels provided. The suite sleeps 2 – 5 people with a separate bedroom with a double bed and open plan living area with an equipped kitchenette. The bathroom has a luxurious free-standing bath and shower.

There is an indoor fireplace with a private outdoor braai area in an enclosed garden with Almond and citrus trees. Relax on the balcony with views over the orchards and Langeberg Mountains, try to spot the rabbits and porcupines while watching the numerous birds on the farm. Lovely and cool in summer and cosy and warm in winter, come relax in the lovely garden under the almond tree or spend time at the dam swimming and fishing.

• Sorry, no pets allowed due to all the tame animals on the farm and numerous ducks and geese.
• No smoking is allowed in the suites.

Camping
Wildlife campsite is situated in a natural pine forest. There are 6 sites each with their own braai area. There is a central Pine Tree entertainment area with hot water showers, built in braai, an entertainment area with seating and a table, an area to prepare food, wash dishes and a loft where hikers can sleep overnight after a grueling day of walking over the Langeberg mountains.

Perfect for campers and caravaners. Also perfect for team-building, hiking groups, people who would like a place to get away from noise and stress e.g. painters, yoga groups or people who enjoy meditating.

• Sorry, no pets allowed due to all the tame animals on the farm and numerous ducks and geese.
• Wood costs R25.00/box - all non-indigenous tree wood.

Activities on the farm and nearby
Relax on the farm at the lapa. Go for a walk through the orchards. Or be adventurous and take a hike up the Langeberg mountains or ride our numerous mountain biking trails.

There is a 6 hour hike between Simonskloof farm and our farm which takes one over the Langeberg mountains - not for the faint-hearted. A 30 minute drive away from our farm is kloofing, 4X4 trails, the Montagu golf course, wine and brandy tasting, tractor rides and for lunch, potjies at the Protea. Also, Montagu hot springs andthe Protea farm.

Or just do nothing and relax!
