Umfolozi River Lodge is a bird watcher's paradise with beautiful walking trails along the Msunduzi River passing through the litchi, pecan and macadamia nut groves. Where the call of the Fish Eagles is a common occurrence as well as Palm Nut Vultures frequently flying over our garden.

Large aviaries of exotic birds and koi fish pond surround the lodge while the ponies, rabbits and other small farm animals are sure to delight both the young and old. Our overnight camping facilities consist of five sites all equipped with water and electrical points over looking the Game reserve. 4x4 Excursions are on offer for the enthusiasts.
