With wonderful views north across the farmland all the way to the Sonderend mountains and west into the Overberg sunsets.
Gumtree Cottage is a quaint, cosy self-catering cottage tucked away on a large 2,200 square metre plot overlooking Napier.
Features include an entertainment area under the gum tree, an olive orchard, and some surprises in the garden.
There's also a Weber barbecue for outside cooking and seats and a table under the gum tree.
Gumtree Cottage is located close enough to Main Street to park your car and walk almost everywhere in the village. It all adds up to a perfect getaway to rest, relax, and take in the charm of Napier.

Gumtree Cottage : It is fully equipped, very comfortable, and sleeps up to six people. The unit comprises a lounge, TV nook, a large kitchen with a wood-burning donkey for winter warmth, two double bedrooms, a walk-through kiddies' bedroom with two single beds, a full bathroom with old-fashioned bath, a second bathroom with shower and toilet, and three covered patios.
The main patio looks north and west, there's a back porch which is protected from the north-westerlies, and a small Juliet balcony facing north where two people can sit and soak up the winter sun.

Directions to Gumtree Cottage
From Cape Town travelling on the N2 to Caledon, take the second turn-off into Caledon and continue straight through the town on the R316.
Entering Napier, continue across the four-way stop and after about 200 metres, turn right up the lane between Riek Creative Art Gallery and Pascal’s restaurant. At the T-junction at the top of the lane turn right and then take the first left up Baker Street.
Turn first left again into Cilliers Street and proceed to No. 18, on the right-hand side, a Mediterranean-style cottage in blue and white.
