Killarney Farm House Accommodation

The spacious house is thatched with high open ceilings, it is fully furnished and decorated to a high standard in a comfortable country house style.
It can accommodate up to 14 people (children included) and has a large sitting room with an open fireplace, bar counter, bar fridge, heated swimming pool, sun bathing deck, extra comfortable sun lounger, shaded verandah with outdoor furniture (including a hammock and bench swing) and an outside dining area equipped with a portable gas BBQ and umbrellas that provide maximum shade.

The master bedroom is en-suite with a seperate shower and the other 2 large bedrooms have twin beds that can be made doubles upon request and they share a bathroom that includes a seperate shower. There are also 4 twin beds and a shower room which is for children in the additional wing comprising of 2 stories.

A seperate guest cottage outside the main house has 2 small double bedrooms and a seperate shower, a fully equipped kitchen including a washing machine, deep fryer, microwave, dishwasher, 2 large fridge/freezers, gas hob and an electric oven.
The cottage also has a laundry room attached to the rear of the garage and the large dining room seats up to 10 guest on the table.
Other facilities include board games for all ages, a collection of natural science reference books covering the regions wildlife, library, a stereo system in some rooms, a night guard and security system and a garage for 2 vehicles. Cots and fax machines will be availed upon request.

How To Get To Killarney Farm House

From the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport
Follow the road to the T-junction and turn left towards Nelspruit on the R538 and keep going straight along this road for +/- 7 km’s.
When you reach a crossroads signposted to KaNyamzane and Nelspruit, ignore it and keep going straight. You will cross the Crocodile River and arrive at another T-junction where you turn right towards Nelspruit/Machadodorp on the N4. When you arrive in Nelspruit town centre keep following signs to N4 Machadodorp and after +/- 25 km’s you will pass the Crocodile Country Inn on your right. Drive slowly at this point.

Take the next right turn immediately afterwards to Rosehaugh. Reset your mileage clock now. Once on the Rosehaugh road, you will cross the Stads River onto a dirt road.
You will shortly come to a Y-Junction to Rietvallei on the left, and Rooiuitsig to the right. Take the Rietvallei road to your left and you will re-cross the Stads River and reach the Schagen Kwekery/Nursery on the left after about 3.4km’s.

About 3km’s further on, on the right, you will see a green sign marked “Killarney Farm”. Do not take this road, but keep going.
After a further 0.7km’s, just after a sharp bend, you will see a dirt track going down the hill on the right hand side of the road. You should take this track.
There are no markings, no house names etc, but there is a telegraph pole about 25m down the track on the right hand side.
Note: If you reach “Inter Mayo” on the main dirt road, then you have missed our turning and need to turn around.
Once on our track you will come to some green electric gates (for which you will be provided with a key code). The house is the thatched property at the bottom of the driveway.
