Mariù Guest House offers 9 luxury non smoking double rooms each with en suite bathrooms as well as private balconies/patios overlooking the valleys of Nelspruit or the sub tropical garden. Two of the double rooms have inter leading doors, ideal for families. The rooms are equipped with air cons/ceiling fans, Dstv, tea/coffee making facilities as well as bathroom amenities. We also supply all linens and towels.
The premises are secure and only accessible via a security gate with safe parking for your vehicle.

Rooms 1, 2 and 3 are wheelchair friendly as well as easy to navigate for people having difficulty to walk. All the rooms have their own private entrance with private patios assigned to each room. We have 4 rooms in total on the ground floor with own bathrooms equipped with showers.
Rooms 5 and 6 on the first floor have an inter-leading door ideal for a family or for friends travelling together both rooms are equipped with showers. Room 5 has a balcony overlooking the front garden and the pool. With a Bird’s eye view over the valleys and nightlights of Nelspruit one can sit relax and have a nightcap while listening to the sounds of the night.
Rooms 8 and 9 are similar to rooms 5 and 6 also with an inter-leading door. Room 9 has a bath instead of a shower. Both of these rooms have wooden floors and are exceptional in appearance. They both have wonderful balconies overlooking our garden. Room 9 has a wild fig tree with owls visiting on a regular basis, growing right up to the balcony. We always try to keep as much of nature intact in order not to disturb the bird life in our garden.
Cleaning service of rooms every day with fresh towels and linen.
We have a sparkling pool where you can relax with a sundowner and perhaps put some meat on the barbeque for your supper. (Weather permitted) alternatively you can relax on your balcony while waiting for your take out. Nelspruit have a huge variety of take out restaurants available which also deliver your food. We can also recommend a few very good restaurants if you would rather go out for a meal.
All our rooms are non smoking but we do provide outside seating and ashtrays. All the guest rooms are separate from the main house.
We don’t do laundry, but in an emergency please enquire. We do have a laundry service about 2 km from our guest house.
We can also by prior arrangement supply you with a home cooked dinner as an optional extra. We don’t do dinners as a rule but please feel free to enquire.

Eden chimpanzee sanctuary
Also known as the Jane Goodall institute for chimpanzees in South Africa.
The goal of the sanctuary is to rescue some of the many chimps that have
been misplaced through illegal pet trade, zoos, and medical research facilities
and survived the hunting for bush meat ordeal as well as from the many
wars going on all over the African continent.
At Eden the chimps are being rehabilitated and eventually put back in
the wild whenever it is possible to do so. It’s worth a day trip.

this experience. They have well trained cross bred horses for an out of
this world experience on horseback.

The Nelspruit golf club is host to the annual jock of the bushveld festival
of golf when hundreds of amateur golfers descend on Nelspruit to enjoy
this spectacular sport on an impressive golf course. Every year at the
beginning of May.
Inni bos
Inni bos is an arts festival similar to the KKNK in Oudtshoorn with theatre
and music productions as well as art exhibitions and many Kraft stalls
at different venues in and around Nelspruit. Hoërskool Bergvlam hosts
full day nonstop entertainment on the 3 open stages with top artist providing
entertainment on the main stage. This is definitely a must for both kids
and adults.
Big Swing
if you have a need for adrenalin pumping action the big swing just outside
of Graskop will certainly leave you gasping for air. freefall at a speed
of 180 km ph dropping 68 meters in less than 3 seconds.
