Friston Lodge in Newlands offers one double bedroom next to the solar-heated pool area, and a garden apartment facing the lush garden.
Both accommodations on the plot have en-suite bathrooms with bath and/or shower, as well as DStv. Internet access is available at R30 per day.
Friston Lodge is located very close to Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens, Cecilia Forest, Table Mountain Contour Path, the Sports Science Institute and Virgin Active, as well as the Newlands Rugby and Cricket Grounds.
Newlands is also not far away from Constantia Valley with its famous wine route and wonderful countryside atmosphere.
An outside breakfast area with mountain views is also used as an entertainment area to enjoy those hot summer afternoons around the heated swimming pool, and secure parking is available.

Pool Suite : Cosy and quiet B and B guest room with separate entrance and direct access to the solar-heated swimming pool. This open-plan unit offers accommodation for two people and has a private patio.

Garden Apartment : Furnished self-catering accommodation for two to four people comprising of an open-plan bedroom and lounge area with queen-size bed and sleeper couch, a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom with bath and shower, as well as a garden and private patio with seating area.

Directions to Friston Lodge
From Cape Town International Airport, take the N2 towards the city centre. Take the M3 off-ramp in the direction of Muizenberg and continue to the traffic lights. Turn right into Rhodes Avenue at the signs for Hout Bay/Kirstenbosch Gardens.
Follow Rhodes Avenue and turn into Rose Street on the left. No. 23 will be on the right-hand side of the road. Please ring the bell, located on the wall left of the gate.
Your accommodation will be behind the second gate which will be opened for you, as there is secure parking on the plot.
