Vine Cottage is a 2 bed roomed luxury cottage, set in a private and tranquil milieu of green and whispering garden – hear the horses frolicking in the paddock over the fence. Inside the cottage is an open plan central living area, flanked by en-suite bedrooms on either side.

The finishings include sandstone, slate and oregan, with a beautiful, fully-equipped kitchen with stainless-steel appliances including gas hob & electric oven, and solid oregan counter top.
The main bedroom offers a private queen-sized bed with its own sitting area and DSTV, and the second twin bedroom is screened off from the open plan living area and luxury sleeper-couch lounge with DSTV.

Both bathrooms offer oversized glass and slate showers, and both bedrooms lead out to the garden with slate tiled patio, complete with Weber braai and teak outdoor furnishings. Idyllic.
Vine Cottage sleeps 4 guests comfortably and privately from each other, however the, luxurious sleeper couch offers a further 2 guests a comfortable night’s sleep. (Sleeps 4 - 6)

Clydesdale Luxury Suites:
Situated as part of the main house with a totally private entrance, the decor is one of wooden floors, chandeliers and suede curtains.
There is a queen sized bedroom, a luxury full bathroom with a large bath and glass shower; open plan lounge with DSTV; little dining table to seat 4; a luxury double sleeper couch is available offering a further 2 guests a comfortable night’s sleep; and a separate fully equipped oregan and stainless kitchenette. (Sleeps 2 – 4)

Oak tree cottage:
Oak Tree Cottage is a wonderfully unique cottage, situated beneath the 100 year old Oak trees overlooking a tranquil, forested garden.

A favourite for romantic couples, Oak Tree is decorated in oregan furniture from a bygone era, and offers a queen sized bedroom en-suite (oversized shower); a soothing lounge with DSTV and gorgeously cozy wood-burning fireplace, with separate fully equipped kitchenette.
The patio and private braai facility gives one the feeling of privacy and complete serenity. (Sleeps 2 – 4)

Acorn Cottage:
Acorn Cottage is a delightfully warm and welcoming cottage, situated next to Oak Tree Cottage beneath the 100 year old Oaks, and overlooking a tranquil forested garden.
Acorn’s furnishings also present the period ambiance of a bygone era, with queen sized bedroom , en-suite shower, leading through to a separate lounge with luxury sleeper couch and DSTV.
Acorn offers tea and coffee making facilities with a bar fridge instead of a kitchenette. Sitting on Acorn’s patio in front of your Weber braai with a glass of wine in hand, leave all the stress of everyday life behind.

Cape Cuisine:
Enjoy your scrumptious farmhouse breakfasts, served in the comfort of your own cottage or under the 100 year oaks in a forested garden, all prepared with the freshest produce of free range eggs, farm bacon and freshly baked bread.
Continental breakfasts include fresh fruit salad, muffins, toast, and farm butter, a selection of cold meats, cheeses and preserves. We also serve special evening meals of the day, advance orders to be placed.

Some of South Africa's award winning restaurants grace the South Peninsula, within close proximity to the Lodge, so whether you choose to enjoy the freshest seafood on the rocks of False Bay, or Haute Cuisine in the Cape Wine lands, any restaurant reservation is at our fingertips.

Treat your partner to a romantic picnic atop Chapman's Peak, or taking in the sunset on Noordhoek beach, both only a couple of minutes drive from the lodge.
We will fill a picnic hamper with select delicacies and wine. For a choice of picnic cuisine, we can surprise you, or alternatively advance orders may be placed with your choice of food selection. Alternative picnic venues, all in close proximity or further a field can also be recommended.

Situated in the ideallic natural setting of Noordhoek, we strive to preserve this beautiful value for future generations. By following stringent "green tourism" procedures and eco friendly products, we aim to have as little impact on our beautiful area as possible.
Apart sharing it with our valued in-house guests of course. Low energy lighting, water saving showers, separation of waste for recycling and general design efficiency all contribute to do doing our little part in helping save our precious earth.

Our private and tranquil spa retreat is a small and intimate wooden cabin set in a private forested clearing, offering a sauna and jacuzzi spa, available for your exclusive use during your stay at Sacred Mountain Lodge.

Things to do:
Noordhoek is the ideal location from which to explore the Cape Peninsula, minutes away from superb beaches, awe inspiring mountain drives including Chapman's Peak and Ou Kaapse Weg, and scenic wine routes beginning with the oldest and boldest Constantia Wine lands.

For whale watching in season all along the False Bay coastline, and Cape Point Nature Reserve with their wildlife, particularly the cheeky and fascinating Baboon community; or take a scenic drive to Hout Bay and board a boat trip to Seal Island; and for the more adventurous, go cage diving with the Great White Shark, Deep Sea Fishing or abseiling off Chapman's Peak!

Not to be missed are Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens' summer sunset concerts on the grassy slopes beneath the peaks of Table Mountain, harnessing a powerful experience of listening to music!
Visit historical Simonstown and stop en-route to meet the friendly penguins on Boulders Beach. There is also the fascinating fishing village of Kalk Bay and many more beautiful and exhilarating places to see and things to do.

From Sacred Mountain Lodge take a stroll down to Noordhoek Farm Village for lunch and browse around the array of local arts and craft shops.
Walk across the way to one of the horse farms where you can enjoy an outride on one of the friendly horses' take to the trails or head off for a canter along the 8km stretch of white sandy beach, unquestionably an exhilarating experience and one of the best beaches for horse riding in the world!

If its bird watching you're after, we're situated in the heart of Table Mountain Nature Reserve with the Noordhoek Wetlands on our doorstep ' an incredibly popular location for the bird watching community.
Golfers are spoilt for choice with Clovelley Country Club, Westlake Golf Club and Steenberg Golf Estate. 3 of the best courses in the Cape Town area within 15 minutes drive!

Our nearest shopping mall is a few km's away with banks, cinemas, shops and restaurants. Airport transfers, Car Hire and tour guides arranged on request.
