A fantastic and very eco-active way to explore Cape Town and also its

equipment and comfort. They have a number of great packages in and out
of Cape Town.
In case you would like to go to the wine lands and you do want to taste
a lot and in case you don’t have a designated driver, here is the
answer... We use these well informed guides from Day Tours also for tours
into the townships, Cape Point and even for a day of Safari to Inverdoorn.
For a more personal guiding and tours in smaller vehicles and/or airport
transfers Warren will do everything possible to show you the greatest
places or just meeting you at the airport for a safe trip to our place.
SAFARIS:
Yes, we do have the Big Five around, although not like the big parks in
the North of the country but nevertheless you will see big African animals
and other lovely creatures...
Fairyglen is closest to Cape Town, just a hour away, tucked nicely on
the mountains just outside of Worcester.
A bit further away, but also ideal for a self drive, Aquila Safari parades
the Big Five and is also home for some white lions.
A good three hours of beautiful driving from Cape Town, beyond Ceres and
quite isolated, lies Inverdoorn (in the thorns). Here you get more the
feeling of being in Africa.
We have not been here ourselves, but soon we will! White Elephant Safari
and the Kohrs family have a great concept in their sleeves and wildlife
in abundance.
Another fabulous Game Park in the North-East, Shayamoya, we had a fantastic
time there twice and the Blevin family offer boat cruises for an amazing
bird and game watching experience and also have two fully equipped house
boats for River and Lake Safaris.
One of the most stylish and beautiful places, we have been to was Jaci’s
Tree Lodge, near the border to Botswana, also home for some packs of Wild
Dogs.
RESTAURANTS:
Cape Town has such a vast variety of restaurants, not possible to list
them all, these are very much our personal favourites, totally subjective!
With great pleasure all details can be discussed over a glass of wine
!
Harald Bresselschmidt is very well known as one the top chefs and an evening
at Aubergine is a celebration of life and wants to make you come back
again and again.
There were times we had to go to Bizerca twice a week, just to sample
Laurent’s simple but so exquisite top notch French cuisine.
Niki is still totally in love with the superb little eatery, Fork. Tapas
cannot get any better.
Just around the corner from us, Limoncello serves authentic Italian cuisine
and with a great vibe.
South African Soul and West Coast Sole served and prepared with lot’s
of attitude, Miller’s Thumb is the perfect spot for fish and seafood,
owned and run by Soli and Jane, where carnivores won’t be ‘even
vaguely sidelined’ (sic).
Once he was the head chef of La Colombe, now Franck Dangereux created
his own, much more relaxed eatery and serves outstanding creations at
The Foodbarn, in bright and friendly atmosphere. And just the drive along
the Atlantic Coast makes your heart jump!
For us Kyoto Garden Sushi is not just the best sushi place in town, it
is a proper Japanese restaurant of high class and the most mellow place
to eat.
