Thabile Lodge is nestled within a rugged, mountainous terrain is a place of happiness.
The lodge's quiet, farm atmosphere offers sanctuary from the glow and buzz of the city - the perfect oasis for balancing the mind, body and soul.
The African-style architecture unfolds within 600 hectares of native surroundings to create a welcoming environment.

Outrides of the surrounding area have become very popular and can be arranged.
Some people are fascinated by our breeding techniques such as embryo implants and artificial insemination.
It's also quite a therapeutic experience to milk a cow or have a calf suckle your finger.
There are plenty of trails to follow along the farm and eager 4-legged friends will gladly join you for a walk and swim in the nearby dam.

Natural, rustic finishes offer a distinct African flair to the 12 en-suite rooms.
The rooms are build as 6 double cottages with two rooms each or you have the choice to interact with everyone or be completely private.
Each room has its own intimate porch with breathtaking views of the Swartberg Mountains.
Beds are easily converted to twin or kingsize, depending on your requirements.
Rooms can be twins or double with a king size bed.

Directions to Thabile Lodge
From Oudtshoorn drive towards De Rust along the N12.
Drive 20km and you will find the turnoff for Dysselsdorp on the right.
Don't turn off but drive just past (200m) that turnoff and then turn left into the Vergelegen Road.
Go over the little bridge and you are now on a gravel road.
Drive only 2km passing 5 houses on the right and then you'll see our sign on the right called Thabile Lodge.
