The hotel is situated on a working wine farm, only 30 minutes
from Cape Town and Cape Town International Airport.
The Estate is in the centre of the historic Winelands area of the
Cape and is the perfect place for a weekend escape or a holiday
destination for the city dweller.
Vineyards stretch out to the Drakenstein Mountains to offer a haven
of luxury accommodation to the discerning traveler.
Palmiet Valley Estate Accommodation
Presidential Suite
This is a 140 sqm large suite on 2 floors equipped with
the finest art deco furniture.
The downstairs lounge area has a fireplace, fully stocked bar fridge,
tea / coffee tray, hairdryer, safe, Satellite TV, DVD player with
a CD collection and a separate dining area.

The upstairs bedroom has a 4 poster king size bed, a smaller lounge area,
air conditioning and a luxurious bathroom with a shower and bath.
Honeymoon Suite
This romantic suite has a large en suite bedroom with a 4 poster
queen size bed, a separate lounge area with a DVD unit and CD collection,
antique safe, tea / coffee tray, hairdryer and air conditioning.
Cottages x2
The cottages are ideal for families, have an air conditioned
master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, a separate lounge area with
a double sized sleeper couch and a small kitchenette (not fully self catering).
The cottages also comprise of an antique safe, tea / coffee tray, hairdryer,
DVD unit with CD collection. Each cottage has a private terrace / garden.
Luxury Room
A contemporary large suite has a king size bed, a luxurious en-suite
bathroom with shower only. There is a DVD unit and CD collection, antique
safe, tea / coffee tray, hairdryer and air conditioning.
Standard Room
These rooms are spacious and bedrooms are equipped with either
a queen size bed or twin beds. All the rooms have a CD player with a CD
collection, tea / coffee tray, hairdryer, antique safe and an option of
air conditioning or a ceiling fan.
Junior Room
The room is en-suite, perfect for a single guest and equipped
with a double bed. The room is equipped with a CD player with a CD collection,
tea / coffee tray, hairdryer, safe and a ceiling fan.

Conference Facilities
Palmiet Valley Estate offers its delegates the charm and ambience
of a bygone age with its extensive landscaped garden area surrounded by
ancient oak trees, providing privacy and tranquility for the perfect conference.
Our Presidential Suite has been converted to house a fully-equipped and
dedicated conference venue that accommodates up to 24 delegates.
The private patio, overlooking the pool, can be used for coffee breaks
and, weather permitting, lunch can be served either under the palm trees
by the pool or under the canopies of the ancients oak trees, adjacent
the historic Manor House; alternatively lunch can be served in the dining
room of the Manor House; with its dark wood ceiling, antique furniture,
silverware and a fire place, delegates will be taken back in time.

How To Get To Palmiet Valley Estate
From Cape Town International Airport
As you exit the airport take the directions to the N2 Highway - Somerset
West. After about 5km turn into the R300 - direction Bellville.
At the end of the R300 take the N1 Highway - direction Paarl, keep driving
for about 35 km until you see “Worcester” (Exit 62A) Sonstraal
Road. Please do not take any of the Paarl exits.
Take the exit 62 A (last exit before the Worcester toll gate), drive to
the top of the exit ramp, turn left and keep straight for approximately
800m, going straight over 2 stop streets (BP garage on your left).
You will travel over a small white bridge over the Palmiet River. Immediately
after the bridge you will see a big stonewall engraved with ‘PALMIET
VALLEY ESTATE’, turn left and then right into the farm entrance.
From Cape Town
Take the N1 towards Paarl, keep driving for about 65 km until you see
“Worcester” (Exit 62A) Sonstraal Road. Please do not take
any of the Paarl exits.
Take the exit 62 A (last exit before the Worcester toll gate), drive to
the top of the exit ramp, turn left and keep straight for approximately
800m, going straight over 2 stop streets (BP garage on your left).
You will travel over a small white bridge over the Palmiet River. Immediately
after the bridge you will see a big stonewall engraved with ‘PALMIET
VALLEY ESTATE’, turn left and then right into the farm entrance.
From Worcester (Approximately a 30 minute drive)
Take the N1, direction Paarl / Cape Town, keep driving for about 15 minutes
until you see signs for the tunnel and choose between the Worcester tunnel
or the very scenic Du Toitskloof pass.
If you go through the toll tunnel (8KM), take the first exit right after
the toll station, turn right into Sonstraal Road, and go straight over
a 4 way stop, then follow the signs for Palmiet Valley Estate.
If you come over the pass you will reach a 4-way stop, turn right here,
after 100m you come to a second 4-way stop, go straight and follow the
signs to Palmiet Valley Estate.
Immediately after the bridge you will see a big stonewall engraved with
‘PALMIET VALLEY ESTATE’. Turn left and then right into the
farm entrance.
From Wellington (Approximately a 15 minute drive)
As you come out of Wellington on the R303, follow the directions to Paarl
(Jan van Riebeek Road). Keep on driving for about 10min, you should have
passed 3 traffic lights by now.
At the 4th traffic light turn left, directions Paarl Oos / Worcester,
you are now in Sonstraal Road, this road will lead you straight to Palmiet
Valley Estate.
You will drive for about 5min till you get a stonewall engraved with Palmiet
Valley Estate on your right hand side. Turn right and then into the farm
entrance. Follow the road to the main buildings
