Four-sleeper Self-catering Bush Camp Hut
This hut has a single room with two bunk beds.
A separate building houses the toilets and urinals and is in close proximity to all the huts and the bathroom facilities are shared.
The self-catering lapa is shared between the huts.

Oom Hannes' Self-catering Farmhouse
This farm house was built in the 1930s and has five bedrooms, a kitchen and a scullery, a lounge and dining room and a veranda looking over the Dome mountains.
Each bedroom is equipped with two single beds and a cupboard.
The two outside bedrooms have three beds each and their own bathrooms.

Oom Kosie's Self-catering Farmhouse
Built in the 1960s, this lovely farm house is a spacious four-bedroomed house with two bathrooms, a kitchen, a large dining room, a lounge, and a veranda overlooking the mountains.
Each bedroom is equipped with two single beds and built-in cupboards.
Three further outside bedrooms have one bed each and their own bathrooms.

Six-sleeper Self-catering Bush Camp Huts
These huts have two rooms each and are equipped with furniture for storage and hanging clothes.
The smaller rooms have one stack bed with mattresses each and the larger rooms have two stack beds each.
These huts also have private bathrooms with showers and basins.
A separate building houses the toilets and urinals which is in close proximity to all the huts.
The self-catering lapa is shared between the huts.

Directions to Deelfontein
From the west (Klerksdorp, Potchefstroom): In Potchef-stroom, take Govan Mbeki Avenue in a southerly direction, continuing on straight at the turnoff to Viljoenskroon in the direction of Vredefort. Cross the Vaal river.
At the T junction beyond the river, turn left.
After 8 km, you will find the turnoff marked “Deelfontein, Gerhard Benade” on the left.
Turn left and drive through the gate.
After 500 m, there is another gate. Follow the signage.
The guest houses and mountain bike trailhead are on the left.
The arts centre, observatory and workshop are 300 m further.
For the bush camp, continue for 1 km until the road forks. Keep left.
The campsite is 200 m further. Please close all gates!

From the north (Pretoria, Johannesburg): Take the N1 South to Bloemfontein.
Take the Parys offramp and continue to Parys. In Parys, follow the signposts for Vredefort.
About 3 km outside Parys, turn right to Schoemansdrif. After a further 3 km, turn left to Reitzburg.
If you hit gravel, you have gone too far!
There is a crossing after about 6 km, where you continue on straight on a gravel road.
After a further 8 km, turn right to Reitzburg.
Exactly 2 km further you will find the turnoff marked “Deelfontein, Gerhard Benade” on the right, about 300 m after the turnoff “Deelfontein, Greeff Boerdery”.
Turn right, and drive through the gate.
After 500 m, there is another gate. Follow the signage.
The guest houses and mountain bike trailhead are on the left.

From the south (Cape Town, Bloemfontein): Take the N1 North to Johannesburg.
At Kroonstad, take the alternative route to Vredefort. In Vredefort, turn left at the first opportunity.
After 1 km, there is a crossing with the Viljoenskroon road. Carry on straight over on the S80 to Schoemansdrif.
After about 12 km, turn left to Reitzburg. Exactly 2 km further you will find the turnoff marked “Deelfontein, Gerhard Benade” on the right, about 300 m after the turnoff “Deelfontein, Greeff Boerdery”.
Turn right, and drive through the gate.
After 500 m, there is another gate. Follow the signage.

From the east (Durban, Vereeniging, Sasolburg): Drive along the R59 from Sasolburg in a westerly direction towards Parys.
Then follow the directions as from the north above from Parys.
