Twiga Lodge is found in Phalaborwa, a famous town in the Limpopo province of South Africa.
Phalaborwa has a tourism industry based on its entrance gate into the famous Kruger National Park.
The area is abundant in wildlife including the Big 5.
There are also several wildlife rehabilitation centers in the area as well as top game hunting farms.

The lodge is fairly remote with a feeling of separation from the town and hotel. The design theme is based on a thatched bush lodge.
The bedrooms and bathrooms are large with a massive open plan lounge / dining and kitchen area.
All areas are dominated by a double volume ceiling under the aromatic thatch roof which is the main feature of this design.
