The Pilanesberg National Park is home to Golden Leopard Resorts;
a convenient 2 hours drive from Johannesburg or Pretoria and the
ever-popular Sun City only 20 minutes away. Pilanesberg National Park is situated on the eroded remains of an extinct alkaline volcanic crater - one of only three in the world. The Park consists of numerous hills, wooded ravines and grassed open plains, making the area very picturesque. |

A wide diversity of eco-types makes a beautiful home for more than 35
species of large mammals, the sought-after "Big Five" and more
than 300 bird species.
Nestled in the North West Province, this area was proclaimed as a National
Park in 1979, covering an area of 55 000ha. It has been restocked with
most of the species that inhabited the area in the late eighteenth century
including the majestic "Big Five". One of the most advantageous
aspects of Pilanesberg is that it is situated within a malaria- free belt.
Golden Leopard Resorts Accommodation
BAKGATLA
Presidential Suite
Chalets accommodate a maximum of 5 guests, have air conditioning a private
patio and braai area. There is a double bed in the main bedroom and three
single beds in the loft, kitchen and bathroom. Centrally located with
the resort is a pool and playground and group bookings and rates are available
on request.
Caravan Park
All sites are grassed and electrified (utility outlets 15amp) and can
accommodate a maximum of 6 people and 2 motor vehicles per site. Sites
have centrally situated ablution facilities, access to the restaurant,
pool, playgrounds and on-site superette.
Camping
Requests for electrified sites are essential, camps each are for a maximum
of 6 people and 2 motor vehicles per site. Sites have centrally situated
ablution facilities, as well as access to the restaurant, pool, playgrounds
and on-site superette. Please supply own tent
Executive Camping Tents
These are exclusive to the Bakgatla Resort, there are 5 Executive Safari
Tents set on a wooden deck, with patio area looking onto the bush and
they are fully electrified. Tents are equipped with 2 x 3/4 beds, sleeper
couch, small bar fridge, exclusive bathroom area and they are NOT self
catering.
BOSELE
Bosele, located within the Manyane Resort, offers a group facility in
log-cabin dormitory-type accommodation. The camp consists of 6 dormitories,
each accommodating up to 32 children and 2 teachers.
The facilities consist of well-equipped ablution blocks, a dining room,
outside bonfire area and a swimming pool. The camp accommodates 16 to
200 pax and rates are inclusive of 3 meals provided each day.
MANYANE
Studio Rooms
Studio rooms consist of 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, bar fridge, shower
and there is no self catering available.
Chalets
Chalets have a bathroom, air-conditioning and a private patio and braai
area. 4 Bed chalets - 1 Bedroom with a double bed and two single beds
in the loft, kitchen, and bathroom with shower cubicle. There is an open
plan kitchen and the pool and playground are centrally situated. Group
and Conference rates and packages for Manyane Resorts are available on
request.

How To Get To Golden Leopard Resorts
From OR Tambo International Airport / Pretoria
Take the R21 towards Pretoria. As you near Pretoria, take the N1 north
towards Polokwane. Now look out for and take the N4 west towards Rustenburg.
On this section of the road, you will pass two toll gates.
Pass the turn-offs to Hartbeespoort, Brits and Randburg. Take the next
turn-off to Sun City / Bapong / Majakaneng / R556.
At the top of the off-ramp, turn right towards Sun City / Bapong and at the fourth four-way stop street, turn right onto the R510 and continue for approximately 25 km towards Mogwase. Turn left at the signpost for the Pilanesberg National Park. At the second four-way stop street, turn right towards the Manyane Gate.
