Plettenberg Bay Game Reserve is the biggest game reserve in the Southern Cape, with more than 2200 ha spread out across the hills above the scenic Garden Route coastline.
It offers an exciting child-friendly safari experience in a non-malaria area with an excellent chance of spotting four of Africa's Big Five - buffalo, lion, leopard and rhino.
It is ideal for day and overnight visitors as it boasts superb facilities and warm African hospitality.

We offer 6 double suites, 3 family rooms and 1 twin room and each spacious room opens onto the picturesque gardens with their indigenous plants.
The rooms have high ceilings and original polished cement and yellowwood floors.
Rooms have showers and freestanding bathtubs, some with views across the indigenous forests.

How To Get To Plettenberg Bay Game Reserve

From Cape Town
Take the N2 towards Port Elizabeth. Take the R340 to Wittedrift / Uniondale which runs North between the Keurbooms and Bitou Rivers by turning left off the N2, approximately 5km past Plettenberg Bay, after the Bitou River.
From Port Elizabeth
Travel along the N2 towards Cape Town, just before Plett take the R340 to Wittedrift / Uniondale by turning right after the Keurbooms River, 5 km before Plettenberg Bay. Follow the Rhino Base Camp signs to the farm, which is a further 12km along this road.
