Whale Cottage is a stylish Beach Villa with views over the Indian Ocean and the Robberg, a World Heritage site.
It is 800 meters from the Robberg beach, from which 1 may be lucky enough to see whales and dolphins.
Plettenberg Bay is 100 km from George airport, a 5-hour drive from Cape Town, a 2-hour drive from Port Elizabeth and just 30 km from Knysna.

Whale Cottage Accommodation

We offer 7 rooms that are sea facing with own terraces and the 4 downstairs rooms each open onto the pool terrace.
All rooms have en-suite bathrooms with either shower only or shower and bath.
There is a flat screen TV with satellite / DStv / German TV, tea / coffee trays, CD player and air conditioning.
Other features include hairdryers, heated towel rails, electric blankets, wireless internet service and secure parking.
We are located in a quiet cul-de-sac and owls, peacocks, guinea fowl, hadidas and other birds can be seen / heard from the house.

How To Get To Whale Cottage

From Cape Town
From the airport take the N2 highway in the direction of Somerset West and continue on the N2 highway towards George but bypass it.
Drive through Wilderness and Knysna in the direction of Plettenberg Bay about 500 km from Cape Town. Take the 1st Plettenberg Bay turn-off and turn into Marine Way.
Go straight through the Dolphin round-about, at the next round-about, take the 2nd left road so that you pass in front of the Kwik spar.
Directly opposite the Kwik spar., turn right into Longships Avenue. Turn right into Mintos Ledge Road (one road after you see a Kwik spar. advertising board), turn left into Dassen Island Road and right into Boston Light Street. We are the 3rd last house on the left.
