Homeleigh Halt Guest House is close to restaurants, airport, shopping centres – Moffett on Main in Walmer Park.
Schools, banks,hospitals, the beachfront, entertainment centres, NMMU (Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University) and other places of historical interest are close by.
Being on the main road, we have easy access to all main routes.

Homeleigh Halt Guest House Accommodation

We offer 6 en-suite rooms with own entrances, TV with satellite / DStv with 3 Super Sport channels.
Each bed is covered with a plump duvet, a lighter blanket and each bathroom has a face cloth and towel per guest.
All rooms are equipped fans, safes, hairdryers, tea/coffee making facilities and bathroom amenities.

Each room has an area suitable for paperwork and guests can make use of the ADSL internet connection in the guest lounge or on the patio overlooking the pool at the huge table where there is ample lighting.
Room 1 - Moroccan Room
Accommodates a maximum of 2 guests, has a king size bed, a bathroom with a double shower and double wash basins. A camp cot can be provided on request.
Room 2 - Orchid Room
Accommodates a maximum of 4 guests in 2 x ¾ beds and a double sleeper couch. The bathroom has a shower and this room is ideal or a family or friends travelling together, who don’t mind sharing.
Room 3 and 6- Ebony and Ivory Room / African Safari Room
This standard accommodation has a double bed and a shower in the bathroom. 2 guests are accommodated here.
Room 4 – Baobab Room
Accommodates 2 guests, a camp cot is provided on request. The bathroom has a shower, spa bath and double washbasins.
Room 5 - The Cottage
Accommodates a maximum of 4 guests on either a bed-and-breakfast or self catering basis. The cottage has a double bed and double bunk beds in 2 rooms.
The bathroom is with a shower and accessed via the room containing the double bunk beds. The Cottage is fully equipped as a self catering unit and has a full size fridge / freezer, microwave and table top oven with 2 plates.

How To Get To Homeleigh Halt Guest House

From Port Elizabeth Airport
Exit Airport and turn left onto Allister Miller Drive which becomes 3rd Avenue after crossing railway line. Go left at robot onto Heugh.
Turn right at the robot onto 6th Avenue, then left at robot onto Main Road. Arrive at 253 on right – just past 12th Avenue.
From Cape Town - N2
Take R743 off ramp, William Moffet / Airport. Turn right at robot, continue over large intersection (Cape Road) onto William Moffet. Take slipway left onto Main Road Walmer. Arrive at destination on left just past 13th Avenue.
From Cradock / Grahamstown - N2
Take M4 Airport. Continue on Settlers Way – keep to the right follow sign for Walmer. Turn right at robot onto Walmer Boulevard (M9).
Continue along past 1st Avenue, road becomes Heugh, and turn right into 6th Avenue at robot. At next robot turn left onto Main Road, Walmer. Arrive at destination on right just passed 12th Avenue.
