Umdlalo Lodge is an owner run, upmarket four star guest lodge with luxurious air conditioned en suite bedrooms. The lodge has the flexible capability to host day conferences for up to 60 delegates.

Zizi’s Restaurant, a unique venue of taste is located in the lodge. To complete the all under one roof package is a fashionable Ladies Bar overlooking a substantial veranda with sea view.

Umdlalo Lodge is located in Umtentweni a few minutes North of Port Shepstone, with easy access to the N2 Toll Road, major shopping centres and recreational facilities. Umtentweni Main Beach is within easy walking distance.

The 8 Suites all have king sized beds which can be made up into two singles upon request. Each bedroom suite leads onto a charming central courtyard and garden and there is easily accessible, safe and secure onsite parking.

The central location of Umdlalo Lodge which is just off the N2, one hour south of Durban and with easy local access from Port Shepstone, Margate and surroundings makes it a practical and economic choice of venue for not only Conferences but any gathering of people with common Interests.

Umdlalo Lodge offers guests the “Memory of a Lifetime” opportunity to be married in a lavish garden ceremony followed by the most elegant of receptions at our now famous Zizi’s Restaurant. It is a prime, easy to access venue for all the guests and main bridal party with easy access from St Faiths off ramp for Umdlalo Lodge.

Complete your stay in our decadent and romantic Honeymoon Suite. The Lodge can accommodate 80 guests in the Zizi’s Restaurant and there is a popular dance floor on the adjacent veranda. There is an opportunity to seat up to 120 guests but as a result some four tables will need to be placed on the outside veranda.

Zizi’s Restaurant
The well known Zizi’s Restaurant is located within the Lodge and apart from ‘Excellent Dining’; the venue provides a magnificent ambience for those quiet special evenings, the family event or even the business meeting large or small.

Zizi’s is famous for its special starters and other house specialities which change regularly. The Restaurant also caters for vegetarians and special dietary needs.

There is a carefully selected Wine List with both local and imported wines to compliment all meal choices and preferences. The Lodge has a full liquor licence.

Ladies Bar
The Ladies Bar has a very special decor overlooking a significant veranda with comfortable seating, which has good views. The Ladies Bar is very popular with guests and visitors who enjoy pre-dinner drinks and after dinner cocktails in convivial surroundings. The restaurant seats 80 people and Vegetarian Meals are catered for. Dress code is smart casual.
