Umzimvubu Retreat is situated on densely forested dunes on First Beach.
It overlooks the Umzimvubu River Mouth and Indian Ocean within comfortable walking distance from the town center.
Our place is perfect for holiday trips, business trips and just sheer pleasure.

Umzimvubu Retreat Accommodation

We offer 4 single rooms, 4 double and 2 twin bedded rooms. We also have 2 honeymoon suites.
All rooms are individually furnished and have en-suite bathrooms with own entrances.
Selected rooms are available where children are able to share with parents at a minimal rate.
All rooms have TVs (DSTV on request), laundry facilities, tea / coffee facilities, fax and internet.
Most rooms have sea views, rooms are fully serviced, have ceiling fans, safe for valuables and secure parking.

How To Get To Umzimvubu Retreat

From Umtata
Follow the R61 from Umtata or Lusikisiki. Enter Port St. Johns (pass Tourist Information Centre). At the 1st stop, turn left towards First Beach (Main Street).
Continue until you pass Gecko Moon Pizza and Seafood Restaurant on your right. Once on gravel road, 200m on your right is entrance to Umzimvubu Retreat Guest House
