Nokeng Eco Lodge Accommodation

We have 6 beautiful stone and thatch cottages that are perfect for a rustic break-away. The cottages are named after indigenous trees found in our surrounding veld.

Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen if you prefer to keep to yourself, otherwise we also offer a bed/breakfast as well as a dinner/bed/breakfast option. The wonderful thing is that your food can either be served in the large eating hall, or delivered to your cottage!

Our cottages are fully furnished, but please bring your own towels.

Our lodge is set far into the bush so you won't hear city noises - only jackal, hippo, ostrich, and any other animals that traverse the farm. The night skies are absolutely magnificent, so come show your children what the real Milkyway looks like!

Karee has 2 bedrooms with double beds, a loft room with 2 single beds (a hit with children!) and built-in couches in the living area that can sleep 2 extra people. The bathroom is creatively unusual with a shower, and the kitchen is fully equipped.

There's a private boma area outside where you can braai, or simply enjoy a crackling fire whilst listening to the night time sounds of the bushveld. Although Karee is quite close to the neighbouring cottage, it is screened by trees and pleasantly secluded.

Blinkblaar is the most secluded of all our cottages, and is perfect for total privacy. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds and a built-in couch. The bathroom has a shower and the kitchen is fully equipped.
The outside covered patio area is completely surrounded by wild trees and veld.

Wildevy has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds. Additional beds can be moved into this room if required. The bathroom has a bath and the kitchen is fully equipped. The covered outside braai area is creatively built, and looks out over the swimming pool.

Wag 'n Bietjie has 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 3 single beds. Additional beds can be moved into this room if required. The bathroom has a shower and the kitchen is fully equipped. The outside braai area looks out towards the swimming pool, and there's a wonderful big lawn area for the kids to play on.

Rooibos is set back from the other cottages, and is surrounded by a large grass area for the kids to play on.
It is also close to the volleyball court and the jungle gym. There are 2 bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with 2 single beds, as well as a double bunk just off the living area.

Additional beds can be moved into this room if required. The bathroom has a bath and the kitchen is fully equipped.

Things to do
We have some amazing facilities and activities on the farm for both adults and children. Whether you want a quiet break or need to keep busy, we've got everything you need...

· a large swimming pool with a water slide
· over 2km of beautiful and wild river frontage with secluded picnic spots
· bird watching - over 450 species in our area including the rare African Finfoot (in our river!)
· bread-baking in an abandoned ant heap
· braai'ing, eating and sleeping (usually in that order)
