In the Northwest province of south Africa is a unique 5 star guesthouse, Terra Casa. Rustenburg is ideally situated near Magaliesberg, the German settlement Kroondal as well as Sun City and Pilanesberg Nature Reserve with the big 5. It is only a 90 minute drive from both Pretoria and Johannesburg.

We have 5 beautifully decorated guest suites with white cotton bed linen and orthopedic mattresses. Our lush garden is an oasis of palms and green lawns surrounding the pool.

The guesthouse is beautifully decorated with special antique pieces combined with a hint of modernity and radiates warmth. The garden court is visible from all the living rooms and the beautiful old palm tree and fish pond compliments the rustic setting.
The owners are both enthusiastic art lovers and have a few very special original South African paintings. A home away from home!

The art theme is also continued throughout the house with all the guestrooms being named after well-known artists. Our six suites are Da Vinci, Van Gogh, Michelangelo, Picasso, Riviera and Gauguin. Each one of Terra Casa's six exquisitely decorated, climate controlled bedrooms welcomes guests to the cool serenity of beautiful white percale / cotton bed linen and orthopedic mattresses.

Our luxurious rooms are all en suite with flat screen TV’s and individual DSTV decoders and are ideal for honeymooners and business people. Our three executive suites are exceptionally spacious with unique antique desks, king / queen sized beds and beautiful views of the Magaliesberg mountain range.

The unique en suite bathrooms all have large showers as well as jacuzzi or sandstone baths. Two of the rooms have balconies as well. The other three suites are also comfortable with king / queen sized beds and lovely garden views.
One of them has its own private wooden deck with table and chairs, while the other two forms part of the serene garden. These rooms have either a bath or shower.

Dining
The dining room and patio forms part of a lush garden court. It all overlooks a secluded pool in an oasis of palms and green lawns.
All the living areas have French doors opening onto the relaxing patio with beautiful mountain views. Three course dinners are also served form Mondays to Thursdays on request.

How To Get To Terra Casa

From Lanseria Airport
Exit the airport and then turn right towards Hartebeespoort dam / Brits, continue approximately 22 – 25 km to T-junction, turn left then continue approximately 15km (passing Golf Estate on right). Turn right towards Brits (Bridge crossing dam), continue until the T-junction and turn right.
Follow the road until you reach the first 4-way stop (Engen garage on right), turn left and continue for approximately 6km over railway bridge. Turn right towards N4 / Brits / Rustenburg then turn left on N4 in the direction Rustenburg.

Continue approximately 60km, passing through one toll gate and exit first Rustenburg off ramp (Road Lodge in front). Turn left in the direction of Krugersdorp and at first robot ( Kentucky on right), turn right.
Follow the road up the mountain and at first four way stop (Total Garage on right), turn right. Continue to the T-junction and turn right into Canary Avenue and then the first street right again into Patrys Avenue. Terra Casa is the first house on the right, 2 Patrys Avenue.
