We are situated in the Free State just outside Parys, nestled in the Vredefort Dome bordering 8km of Vaal River frontage.

Therefore we own some of the most beautiful and breathtaking sites and sunsets!

Accommodation
At this small and intimate safari lodge you can enjoy your living either in our Rustic Tented Chalets, The Main lodge or our Rondavel accommodation. The lodge is situated in walking distance to the river and the Vaal River.

Tented Camp
Savannah Game and River Resort Tented Camp has 6 Rustic en-suite Tented Chalets. Each en-suite bathroom has a shower, basin and toilet.

Each tent has queen size beds, additional beds can be added for children. Our Tents are built on a solid base structure raised off the ground.

This gives you great views of the African Bushveld and the Vredefort Dome. Each Tent has its own deck with comfortable chairs to lounge in that overlooks a watering hole.

Additional features are Coffee and Tea Stations. In winter all the beds are equipped with hot blankets. Gas heaters can be added at an additional cost.

Rondavels
Our African-Style round thatched roofed Rondavels, are situated in the garden onto the swimming pool. The en-suite bathrooms have a shower, basin and toilet.

Each Rondavel has a Queen Size Bed. Additional features are Coffee and Tea Stations. In winter all the beds are equipped with hot blankets. Gas heaters can be added if needed at an additional charge.

The Lodge Rooms
The Main Lodge has 3 double rooms all with en-suite bathrooms. It has a comfortable lounge and dining room area with DSTV.

The Cheetah Room has a queen size bed. Additional beds can be added for children. Double doors onto the garden and overlooks the swimming pool. The en-suite bathroom has a large oval bath, shower, basin and toilet.

The Rhino Room has a queen size bed. The en-suite bathroom has a large oval bath, shower, basin and toilet.

The Lion Room has a queen size bed. Additional beds can be added for children. Double doors onto a private garden overlooking the bushveld.

Additional Infomation

Additional features to all rooms are Coffee and Tea Stations. Ceiling fans for summer. In winter all the beds are equipped with hot blankets. Gas heaters can be added if needed at an additional charge.

Group Accommodation – This is situated on the open grass land of Savannah away from the lodge. We offer group accommodation of up to 40 adults.

Cycle over the koppies on your mountain bike.
Get married, and dance the night away under the African stars.
Meet in the Conference rooms and plan your business strategy.
