Escape from the rush of the city to enjoy a quiet and relaxing time at La Rochelle Lodge where total peace, tranquility and outstanding South African hospitality await you. Set high on the slope of the Magalies Mountain and right behind the Transvaal Yacht Club, this lodge boasts magnificent views of the Hartbeespoort Dam and Witteberg Mountains. The luxurious accommodation consists of four bedrooms; two of which
are very spacious with king-size beds and en-suite bathrooms with
showers. The rooms have reading corners, bar fridges, microwaves
and TVs with local channels. Both rooms boast 180 degree mountain

The third room is our spacious Family Room which offers a double bed, twin beds and an en-suite bathroom. The room has a fridge, microwave, a TV with the local channels and boasts 180 degree mountain views. The fourth room is our Garden Room which offers a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. The room has a TV, fridge and a walk-in cupboard, and boasts mountain and dam views.
Relax and cool down in the pool where vervet monkeys regularly visit. Smoking is restricted to outside areas only. The large covered veranda can seat 30 to 40 people for meetings, birthday parties, teas or small weddings. We are within walking distance of restaurants, pubs, flea markets, the Hartbeespoort Snake and Animal Park, the tunnel and dam wall. We are virtually on the doorstep of shops, wildlife sanctuaries cultural villages, the citrus wine cellar and croc farm. We are less than an hour’s drive from Johannesburg, Pretoria, Rustenburg, Pilansberg and Brits.
