The Other Corner

Sedgefield Garden Route - South Africa

The beauty of this set-up is that if there are more people to be accommodated in The Kingfisher Corner than the four allowed, they can use The Other Corner. The whole set-up is planned for privacy, even though the units are close together.

Boating and fishing, as well as great open water swimming are a must. Birdwatching can be enjoyed from the balconies, or the near-by bird-hides, especially good for water birds and waders.

The Other Corner Accommodation

The Other Corner is the two original houses one above the other. Only the one unit is let, and contains two and a half bedrooms, two bathrooms (one en-suite) and a large living room / dining / kitchen.
The balcony has an unbelievable view, quite the best in Sedgefield and perhaps the garden route too.
Many breakfasts will be enjoyed here, and evening get-togethers.

The Other Corner Facilities

The stove is gas, but fridge, lights, hot water and are electric. There is a good Jetmaster fireplace as well, lovely in winter. No servicing is provided. The house is dry construction and was built 30 years ago. This house is cosy even in the winter with striking views due west over the estuary.
