Emerald Cove, holiday accommodation in Shelly Beach, KwaZulu-Natal South Coast, is located about an hour’s drive from south of Durban and enjoys a warm subtropical climate of sunny days and warm winters while the shores are washed by the warm Indian Ocean. Literally a few steps away through the front gate is St Michaels Beach, this is a safe swimming beach, lying protected between a tidal pool and a placid lagoon. |

With so many activities and facilities close by, whatever you choose to do, Emerald Cove is the perfect holiday destination. Emerald Cove comprises seven tastefully furnished and fully equipped self-catering chalets.
Swimming pool and braai area Secure on-site parking and direct access to the beach. Shopping mall and restaurants are within walking distance. Each chalet boasts its own patio and comfortable lounge with television. The fully equipped kitchen has a fridge, stove and microwave oven.
There are 4 x two bedroom chalets with second upstairs loft bedroom .There are 2 one bedroom chalets with a double bed in the main en suite and sleeper couch in the lounge. The largest three bedroom 2 bathroom chalet sleeps 6.
What to do near and Around Emerald Cove
Emerald Cove is a great place to enjoy fun in the sun, simply by walking out onto St Michael’s beach you can surf the waves, fish off the rocks, explore the rock pools filled with marine life, gather shells, take a paddle boat or canoe up the lagoon, or relax on the golden sand.
St Mikes is also a popular surfing break with good waves all year round, which attract the surfers, body boarders, paddle skiers and kite surfers.
Emerald Cove can arrange a deep sea fishing trip or a dolphin and whale watching pleasure cruise. Nature Walks and hikes, Horse Riding and Mountain biking are a few of the many things to do. Visit a Crocodile Farm, Snake Park or Coffee Farm.
