Airport, and situated in the greater Table Mountain National Park.

Mariner
Guesthouse offers 8 spacious and beautifully decorated en-suite bedrooms,
all with exceptional views. Get cosy in front of our fireplace in the
lounge or have breakfast on our open veranda, enjoying the fresh air.

Superior Room
(42m²) With a beautiful four poster bed and luxurious linen, this
room has a full bathroom with extra large bath, shower and double basin.
Relax with a glass of wine or enjoy the sunset from your private balcony.
This room is ideal for romantic getaways / honeymoon couples and has the
option of requesting "breakfast-in-bed"!
Self-catering Luxury Room
(36m²) This room has a full bathroom and mini self-catering facilities.
It is ideal for longer stays with a queen sized bed and space for an additional
single bed if required. Your large private covered balcony has direct
access to our barbeque area if you feel like having "braai".
Sail Rooms / Family Unit
(25m² each) These rooms can serve as individual rooms or as one unit.
They are ideal for a family where the children and parents each have their
own bedrooms.
An interconnecting door gives direct and private access between the bedrooms.
Each bedroom has its own en-suite shower bathroom.
Executive Rooms
(34m²)
These large bedrooms all have the option of twin beds or one king sized
bed, two with en-suite shower and the other two with shower baths. Each
also has its own privately covered balcony overlooking False Bay.
Breathtaking views of Simon´s Town from every room.
Mariner Guesthouse is architecturally designed with space, comfort and
luxury in mind for its guests.
The decor is a combination between classic and modern, with a light maritime
touch.
The building extends over three levels with a double volume lounge with
leather couches, Oriental carpets and fire place.
The dining area has large windows and extends onto a protected verandah
where guests can enjoy a breakfast that will keep them satisfied all day!

Conference Facilities:
Our semi-enclosed covered Lapa offers a relaxed environment for strategy
planning and brain storming. It is a large area (75sq m) with a braai
on the one side.
The house offers different break-away rooms if necessary and in the case
of bad weather, our dining area can also be used for conferences.
Standard equipment include flip charts, whiteboards and TV/DVD machine.
A Digital Projector and Overhead Projector can be arranged at extra charge.
Different packages can be put together according to your needs: including
meals, tea/coffee, boat trips or other outings, restaurant bookings for
the evenings. Every endeavour shall be made to accommodate any special
requirements.

Fastest route from Cape Town International Airport
· After leaving the parking area at the airport, take the N2 (Cape
Town) turn-off
· Continue heading towards Table Mountain, getting into the left
lane as you almost reach the mountain
· Take the M3 (Muizenberg) turn-off LEFT just before the road starts
turning right towards the City
· Stay on this road with the mountain on your right for about 20km’s
heading South
· You will come to a T-junction traffic light against another mountain.
Turn RIGHT towards Ou Kaapse Weg
· Drive over one set of traffic lights and turn LEFT just before
you reach the next set of traffic lights: Simon’s Town / Ou Kaapse
Weg
· Drive over the mountain via Ou Kaapse Weg
· Drive over 2 sets of traffic lights, and over a hill
· Coming down the hill towards the sea, turn RIGHT towards Simon’s
Town
· Drive along this beach road, over several traffic lights, past
Simon’s Town Train Station and through the center of Simon’s
Town
· Once you have passed the Police Station on your left, and after
the end of the stone wall, start slowing down as you reach a lane of trees
on your left
· Turn RIGHT into Runciman Drive
· Drive up the hill and follow the road as it makes a right turn
· Turn LEFT up the second road into Harbour Heights Drive
· Follow the steep road and immediately turn LEFT: Harbour Heights

The scenic route along the coast
· After leaving the parking area at the airport, take the N2 (Cape
Town) turn-off LEFT
· Continue heading towards Table Mountain, getting into the left
lane as you almost reach the mountain
· Take the M3 (Muizenberg) turn-off LEFT just before the road starts
turning right towards the City
· Stay on this road with the mountain on your right for about 20km’s
heading South

Turn LEFT towards Muizenberg
· At the next set of traffic lights, turn RIGHT onto the M4: Main
Road towards Muizenberg
· Continue on this road through the small towns of Muizenberg,
St. James, Kalk Bay and Fish Hoek
· Once through Fish Hoek, continue LEFT along the beach road until
you reach Simon’s Town
· Drive past Simon’s Town Train Station and through the center
of Simon’s Town
· Once you have passed the Police Station on your left, and after
the end of the stone wall, start slowing down as you reach a lane of trees
on your left through which you can see the beach
· Turn RIGHT into Runciman Drive
· Drive up the hill and follow the road as it makes a right turn
· Turn LEFT up the second road into Harbour Heights Drive

From Cape Town City Center / Waterfront
Get onto the highway taking you to the N2 (Airport), but stay in the right
lane with Table Mountain on your right the whole time. Do not take the
road to your left going to the airport, but continue on the M3 (South).
Follow directions from Step 4 above.
