Whale View's lounge opens out onto a charming balcony area, enjoying the breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and stunning evening sunsets. We have an honesty bar serving malts, beers and local wines.
Our honesty bar is a self service bar making you feel right at home. All drinks consumed will be charged on departure. In groups of 6 and more bar snacks are available.
After a refreshing sleep, relax and enjoy an extensive breakfast plated in Whale View's stylishly furnished dining room. The ambience is rich & cosy, providing the ideal atmosphere to enjoy your meals whilst soaking in the unbelievable views!

Our bohemian styled dining room doubles up for romantic candlelit dinners, scrumptious high teas and wonderful family celebrations whether breakfasts or long lazy lunches. We serve dinners to groups that are more than 6 pax.

Our dining experience consists of set menus, where you chose the menu that you and your group fancy and we nourish you with exceptional fresh and delicious home cooked food.

The private courtyard, located at the back of Whale View Manor, is a perfect addition to the beautiful surroundings and scenic views. From this serene courtyard you can enjoy a large view of breathtaking mountains above, making it the ideal spot for outdoor dining.

Overlooking a secluded beach, our guesthouse lies on the outskirts of historic Simon's Town, between Cape Town and Cape Point, on the False Bay Coastline.
Our accommodation provides ten lovingly handcrafted rooms, each authentic creation of many exotic cultures that echo South African's own rich heritage.
Six rooms grant a magnificent sea views while four offer majestic mountain vistas and garden excess.
Take a warm hospitality of our eclectic reception areas and enjoy our gorgeous breakfasts in the quiet serenity of our dining room which has an outstanding vantage point to watch the calving whales and the penguin colonies.

Whale View Manor Guesthouse provides the perfect place to come together and conference in a relaxed environment that will create you're every need.
Gourmet lunches and wonderful three course dinners are served in stylish home cooked fashion. We cater for Halaal, Kosher and Vegan. We can accommodate up to 12 delegates. Depending on seating requirements such as boardroom, cinema style and U shaped style.

Please note that beverages served with lunch will be at an extra charge. We cater for most dietary requirements i.e. Halaal, Vegetarian, and Diabetic etc, please advise our event coordinator of your specific requirements.

Our unique Guesthouse offers our clients an intimate wedding venue with spectacular views of the ocean. We offer a secluded garden or courtyard for your wedding ceremony.
And have a beautiful beach situated opposite the Guesthouse which will provide you with a romantic back drop to the beginning of your perfect day.
Our venue can accommodate a maximum of STRICTLY 40 guests for a seated function or STRICTLY 60 guests for a cocktail function. With our unmistakable attention to detail, Whale View Manor aims to make your very special day unforgettable.
VENUE HIRE
A venue hire fee will be determined according to the date, time, size and specific requirements of your event. This includes exclusivity of Whale View Manor, all service staff, our in-house events coordinator, 9 en-suite bedrooms and honeymoon suite with a Continental for all guests the morning after the wedding.
MENUS
Please advise your choice of 1 starter, 1 main and 1 dessert. As each item is individually priced, a predetermined amount will be confirmed for your menu choice. Should you have any specific requirements regarding menu items, please advise and we would be happy to accommodate your requests. Should you require a selection of cocktail canapés to be served to your guests prior to your event, please indicate these choices and the cost will be included in your quote.
BEVERAGES
We do not permit any beverages to be brought to the venue, therefore a fully stocked bar is available. This may work on an account system, where all beverages consumed will be added to the final account. The other option is to offer a cash bar, where all beverages consumed are paid for by the guest. Cocktail drinks served on arrival are available and this would need to be pre-arranged and the amount added to the account.
PARKING
Parking at Whale View Manor Guest House is limited and therefore we are unable to offer parking to guests attending any event. Parking is available in the public parking bays below the Guesthouse and cars are parked at your own risk. Please ensure that cars are locked and no valuables left inside. Should the client require a parking attendant to watch the cars during the function this may be arranged at an additional fee.
SHAYA MOYA SPA
We have an spa in-house where we are able to assist the bride and bridegroom with treatments before and after the wedding. We also offer Hair and makeup for the bride as well as her family and friends. This is an additional costing.
TRANSFERS AND TOURS
We have an in-house Transfer and Tours company. They are able to assist with transfers to and from the airport and restaurant transfers. Also they do group tours for family and friends of the wedding group. This is an additional cost and can be provided to suit you and your group requirements.
DÉCOR
All décor requirements need to be arranged with our in-house coordinator. This includes floral décor, table settings, printed menus, floor plans, table numbers, bridal floral requirements i.e. Bridal bouquet, bridesmaid’s bouquet, corsages, button holes etc may also be arranged by our preferred Florist.
STAFF
All staff is employed by Whale View Manor Guesthouse and the amount of staff will be determined by the size and requirements of each individual function which will be charged accordingly.

The Moya Massage is a unique whole body experience created in the heart of Africa and is proudly South African from the essence of the indigenous oils that are used to pamper the body; to the energy of the native crystals which are mined locally to balance ones energy.

To increase circulation and assist with the penetration of massage oils, the Moya Massage begins with breathing and stretching movements follow - soothing, relaxing and focusing the mind - whilst negative energy is released when body alignment takes place.

Understanding the differing needs of men and women, Moya has carefully selected a unique ‘his' and ‘hers' blend for use in this treatment. The Shaya Moya Spa luxurious top-to-toe massage treatment works to alleviate stress and promote wellness by balancing the body's energy fields in a uniquely all - African way.

Directions From Cape Town:
Take the M3 from Cape Town till the last off ramp (you can't go any further!)
At top of off ramp turn left.
At the T junction turn right - You're now on the M4.
Proceed on the same road through Muizenburg, St James, Kalk Bay and Fish Hoek.
At Fish Hoek circle turn left to Simon's Town.
Continue through Glencairn and the village of Simon's Town past Boulders Beach and the Simonstown Golf Course.
Watch for the Cape times fresh Air Camp on the right hand side.
We're immediately after the Camp (Big White House, steep driveway!)
From Airport:
Take the N2 to the city and turn at the Muizenburg / M3 Turn off ( After off ramp to Hospital and Main road)
Stay on M3 and follow the directions as above.
