Fountain Apartment (sleeps 2)
An open plan apartment (queen) with private entrance, view of mountains with vineyards, en suite bath with shower and equipped kitchenette (30m²).

The popular Fountain Apartment (±30m²), is a cosy, upmarket ''Granny Flat'' type of apartment with a queen-sized bed, a modern bath and an open plan, stylish kitchenette. The Fountain Apartment has a private entrance - access from the garden - a veranda with barbeque facilities and comfortable patio furniture.
You can enjoy total privacy in your exclusive ~40m² garden area with the fountain splattering softly in the background. Good restaurants and shopping facilities are in close proximity (walking distance).

An open plan apartment (twin beds, for 2 single persons or a couple) with private entrance, view of False Bay, en-suite bath with shower & equipped kitchenette (40m²).

Our View Apartment (30m²) is an upmarket apartment with twin beds and a modern kitchenette. A spacious (big enough to entertain some friends), sunny terrace invites for breakfast in the sun or a barbeque at sundowners’ time. It has a separate entrance, accessed from the terrace.
This exclusive for your use terrace overlooks the mountains, wine lands and the False Bay.
It is fitted with barbeque facilities and comfortable patio furniture. Good restaurant and shopping facilities are in close proximity (walking distance).

A spacious open plan apartment with private entrance, view of pool, separate bedroom (queen), sleeper couch, en-suite bath with shower and equipped kitchenette (60m²).

The Pool apartment is a spacious (60m²), modern furnished, very private apartment with a separate entrance and a beautiful exclusive garden and patio area equipped with comfortable patio furniture and barbeque.
The sunny patio invites for breakfast in the sun or a barbeque at sundowners’ time, close to the pool. It has a spacious up market, open plan kitchen with a dining table seating six, and a cozy living area with satellite TV and a sleeper couch (for one adult).

A thirty-minute drive East of Cape Town lies Somerset West part of the Cape Winelands.

Things to do in the area

Wine tasting:
One cannot miss the Helderberg wine route, which incorporates some of South Africa's best wines, with visits to Eikendal Vineyards, Longridge, Lourensford, Morgenster, Spier, Fleur du Cap and Vergelegen Estates within easy reach.
All offer picnic facilities (or bring your own along) and wine tasting courses. The Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschoek wine routes are also nearby, offering many options for the connoisseur.
Also on offer are various cheese tasting tours and chocolate factory visits. They can be combined to create a perfect day out or visit the annual Wine and Cheese Festival.

Somerset West Golf Courses:
The Somerset West area is a golfer's paradise with three 18-hole golf courses as well as a 9-hole golf course and driving range.
The areas around the Helderberg also offer numerous world-class golf courses, e.g. Stellenbosch, Devonvale, Royal Cape and the Arabella to name a few.
To practice your swing or work on your putting, visit the Vodacom Golf Village. Professional golf trainers are also available in the Somerset West/Strand area for a competitive fee per session.

With the Helderberg and Hottentots Holland Mountains in close range, the hiking/walking adventurer is spoilt for choice.
Experience the dramatic scenery and wildlife first-hand with everything from easy walks through the forest to extreme, multi-day mountaineering treks.
Further afield (about 40 minutes drive) lie the beautiful Kirstenbosch Gardens and Tokai forest, and of course the famous Table Mountain, Lions Peak and Devil's Peak, offering challenging hikes for every fitness level.
These and many more, provide ample opportunity to explore the best of the Cape's wildlife.

Sport:
Horse riding on Noordhoek Beach or through the forests or vineyards, hiking at the Helderberg Reserve, Silwerboomkloof Trail and Jonkershoek, bowling, croquet, tennis, squash, competitive group sports, swimming, basketball and many more, are some of the sports the Cape has to offer.

Car travel:
Take the N2 in the direction of Somerset West, turn left onto the R44 to Stellenbosch; at the Lord Charles Hotel (first big intersection), turn right onto Main Rd. (M9) to Somerset West, and turn left into Lourensford St. (M168), then take the second right into Morkel Str. towards Somerset House School to meet us on the left side of High St, corner of High and Oatlands Rd (S34.0795, E18.85535)
Arriving by Airplane:
Cape Town International Airport is the nearest airport. From here, take the N2 in the direction of Somerset West, turn left onto the R44 to Stellenbosch; at the Lord Charles Hotel (first big intersection), turn right onto Main Rd. (M9) to Somerset West, and turn left into Lourensford St. (M168), then take the second right into Morkel Str. towards Somerset House School to meet us on the left side of High St, corner of High and Oatlands Rd (S34.0795, E18.85535).
