Meals:
Breakfast is a major event: prepared with loving care by Thomas very morning
using a combination of fresh local and German products.
The best way for the guests on holiday is to have breakfast at 8:30h,
because than you will get fresh crisp rolls (like in those old days in
Germany),
crunchy health bread, or Brezl and Weißwurst, salami, gipsy ham,
local cheese, fresh fruits, yoghurt and too much to mention.
If you are on business and you need to be on time for a meeting or an
appointment, you can have breakfast from as early as 6:30h.
Special diets are catered for upon request (vegetarian, diabetes, food
allergies).
Incase you just booked self-catering and see the other guests diving
into their breakfast, do not worry, be happy and book breakfast.
BREAKFAST IS AS PERSONAL AS IT IS DELICIOUS…. If you can stay
longer, you will probably enjoy one of our famous South African Braais
with German influence.
As South Africa is a meat country we offer chicken, lamb, boere wors (indigenous
spiced sausage), skilpatijes (liver wrapped in fat net) and or ostrich.
Sometimes we even cater Springbok or Zebra.
This comes with the traditional braai broitkje (sandwich with onion, tomato
and cheese), salad, vegetable (gem squash, butternut, mealie, potato,
mushrooms).
Even if some of this sounds exotic to your taste buds, you should try
it.
We have menus of some of the places available and are happy to phone and
make a reservation for you.

Directions:
· From Cape Town / Airport:
Once you leave the airport take a left turn at the sign that says SOMERSET
WEST and stay on the N2 for approx. 18 min. You can see the huge Somerset
Mall on your right hand side, now follow the curve (left side is the golf
course, right side is a school).
At the FIRST big traffic light turn left into Victoria Road. Turn right
at the next traffic light into Sergeant Street and continue until the
T-junction. Turn right and follow the Lourens Street over a little bridge
and than we are the fifth house on the left-hand side.
· From the direction George:
Take the N2 in the direction Cape Town and drive over Sir Lowry’s
Pass. Go on and pass the industrial area until at the end you can see
the BMW dealer on the left hand side and the sports field of the Hottentots
Holland High School on the right hand side.
Turn right at the following traffic light into Victoria Road. Turn right
at the next traffic light into Sergeant Street and continue until the
T-junction. Turn right and follow the Lourens Street over a little bridge
and than we are the fifth house on the left-hand side.
We recommend everybody who comes to South Africa for the first time and
everybody who arrives after a very long journey, that we fetch you from
the airport.
The arrival times of the airlines are sometimes very early in the morning
or late at night and it is more convenient to have the rental car delivered
to the guest house.
You can then start your first trip (maybe the first time driving on the
left-hand side) peacefully and you do not have to look for the way to
our establishment.
Please be adviced that in South Africa most street signage is not at
eye level but written down on the curb and sometimes not very visual
