Cape Point:
Situated at the south-western tip of Africa, the Table Mountain National Park (TMNP) encompasses the incredibly scenic Table Mountain Chain stretching from Signal Hill in the north to Cape Point in the south and the seas and coastline of the peninsula.
The narrow finger of land with its beautiful valleys, bays and beaches is surrounded by the waters of the Atlantic Ocean in the west and the warmer waters of False Bay and has within its boundaries two world-renowned landmarks - majestic Table Mountain and the legendary Cape of Good Hope.

Gordon's Bay:
Gordon's Bay is a picturesque coastal village, nestled at the foot of the Hot- tentots Holland Mountains and the False Bay Coast.Gordon's Bay is famous for its safe bathing, with both Main and Bikini Beaches attracting thousands of happy sunworshippers.
Fishing from the rocks and the old harbour wall is a popular pastime with locals and visitors alike, sharing yarns about "the big one that got away". Pleasure trips on luxury yachts and cruisers are available from the two harbours while Steenbras Dam is sought after as a picnic spot.

Hermanus Whales:
Hermanus has the status of being the best land-based whale watching destination in the world. Southern right whales visit Walker Bay from June through to December and can be viewed from aboard a boat, an airplane or the shore. Hermanus is home to the world’s only Whale Crier who blows his kelp horn when whales are spotted along the central sea route.

Clifton Beach:

Clifton beach has something of a reputation with the trendy set in Cape Town and is a haven for international jetsetters.
Together with its immaculate white sands and glistening water, their bronzing bodies and designer sunglasses grace Clifton’s 4th beach with sufficient glamour and eco-savvy to deserve not only the ‘see and be seen’ status it has acquired but its blue flag status as well.

Boulders Beach:
Penquins - African (Jackass) Penguins (Sphensicus demersus) are so called for the donkey-like braying sounds they make when on land.
There are only 16 penguin species worldwide. Jackass Penguins are endemic to mainly offshore islands and only three mainland sites on South Africa’s coast, Simon’s Town is one of the total of 28 world sites where they occur. The colony, started by the penguins themselves at Boulders Beach, is unique in that they have voluntarily inhabited suburbia and a public bathing space.
Despite a traumatic history of dog and cat attacks, egg poaching and vicious landowners, they have increased from a few individuals to a colony of over 1000 penguins.
This is in large part due to the diligence of Mr. van der Merwe (Van, the Penguin Man), a retired naval officer who is single-minded in his care taking and protection.

Golf Courses:
Fot the golf lovers we are in close proximity to some of the best courses in our country:
Erinvale - Gary Player was the designer of the course and little of his immaculate challenges has been altered. The introduction of trees and the considerable care of manicuring the surrounds are nevertheless noticeable improvements. Throughout the course there are majestic mountain backdrops, panoramic views of the surrounding hillsides planted with vine and sparkling views of the ocean from the higher vantage points.

Kleine Zalze - De Zalze offers a fine mix of parkland holes, its main defences being the water features on several of the holes. The oak-lined Blaauwklippen River winds its way through the golf estate and comes into play at various intervals. Renowned golf course architect, Peter Matkovich, designed the De Zalze Golf Course, making most of the stunning setting while placing a premium on accuracy.

Arabelle - The number one golf course in the Western Cape (Golf Digest Awards, 2008), the Arabella Golf course stretches through rolling fairways, deceptive bunkers and challenging water traps. A truly unique golf course set on the banks of the Bot River Lagoon and fringed by indigenous fynbos.
The championship course layout was designed and built in 1999 by celebrated South African golf course architect, Peter Matkovich, this classic parkland course has spectacular views across the Bot River lagoon (freshwater) and across the Kogelberg mountain range.

Pearl Valley - Pearl Valley Golf Estates is a Jack Nicklaus-designed, 170-hectare championship golf course (par 72) lying in the heart of the Cape Winelands. Set against the stunning backdrop of the Drakenstein Mountains, it is one of the most visually spectacular golf courses in the world – and one of the most challenging in Africa.

Steenburg Estate - The Steenberg golf course is rated as one of top three courses to visit in South Africa, while the Estate itself has earned global recognition as a flagship residential address. Situated mere minutes from the Cape Town city centre, Steenberg is a first-class destination for fine dining, wines of origin and luxury hotel accommodation. Steeped in the Cape Dutch tradition, history has an elegant, almost tangible quality at Steenberg. Nestled in the crook of the Constantiaberg Mountains, the Estate is a piece of time-crafted perfection some three centuries in the making.

Stellenbosch Wine Route:
The Stellenbosch Wine Route is arguably the country´s most famous, and the Stellenbosch Wine of Origin area includes 106 cellars - most of which are open to the public. Enjoy a long day´s wine tasting, and wine buying and you´ll sip more than our great South African wines - you´ll taste our South African way of life.
The heart of the town lies somewhere near the oak-lined Dorp Street. With its venerable old buildings, this is the University´s main thoroughfare, where modern student life sits comfortably side by side with our history and architectural heritage

Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens:
Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is world-renowned for the beauty and diversity of the Cape flora it displays and for the magnificence of its setting against the eastern slopes of Table Mountain.
Kirstenbosch grows only indigenous South African plants. The estate covers 528 hectares and supports a diverse fynbos flora and natural forest.
The cultivated garden (36 hectares) displays collections of South African plants, particularly those from the winter rainfall region of the country. It was founded in 1913, read about the History of the Garden.
The Visitors' Centre includes an information desk and various retail outlets and a coffee shop. The Centre for Home Gardening has outlets for plants and other services to support the home garden.

Table Mountain:
One of the worlds 7 wonders, Table Mountain is a must for any visitor. The best views of Cape Town are seen from the top of Table Mountain. The Cableway takes you to the summit in under 10 minutes and the cable car's rotating floor ensure that all passengers get a 360 degree aerial view of the city.
Your ascent to the top of Table Mountain takes just under 10 minutes and offers you a 360 degree view of the city. Once on top there are over 2km of pathways leading you to views over Cape Town, Table Bay, Robben Island the Cape Flats and the Cape Peninsula.
