There is a telephone that works with a world call card obtainable from the post office. Here is also a washing machine in this unit. There is Dstv and safe parking for one car. This is a home away from home with a nice garden and a braai place.

Bertha’s number one lies in the Historical Centre of Stellenbosch between upper Dorpstreet and the Eerste River just below the Theological School of the University.
This place is 5 minutes walk from Paul Roos Gimnasium and 10 minutes walk to Coetzenburg, the sports grounds of the University.
It is a few minute’s walk from the Village centre with coffee shops, restaurants, curio shops, post office, banks, museums, “Oom Samie se winkel”, information centre, movie house, convenient stores, pubs and the University of Stellenbosch.
This place is ideal for holiday, business, research academics or for a base to visit surrounding areas like Franschhoek, Paarl, Wellington, Cape Town, Strand, Somerset West and all the wine farms.

Bertha’s number two is fully equipped with bedding and towels. It has a shower and two wash basins. The place has two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen size bed with mosquito net and the second bedroom has two single beds. This unit sleeps four people comfortably.

Bertha’s place number 4 is newly renovated and fully equipped. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is an en suite with a shower, washbasin and toilet. The 2nd bathroom has a shower, bath, toilet and washbasin. Each bedroom sleeps 2 people.
The main bedroom has a french door going out on a stoep. There is a sitting/dining room and DSTV. The kitchen has a fridge, microwave, two plate stove with oven. There is a table where you can sit and eat. Everything is there. You only bring your own food and clothes.
There is safe parking for one car.
It is in the historical centre of Stellenbosch. The gardens are well kept and there is also a braai.
There is a washing machine on the property – please ask your host about it first.
There is a telephone in this unit and Dstv and safe parking for one car.
There is also a place to wash clothes, but you will have to ask the owner first.
