If you love dirt roads, sunsets, wine by candlelight, an owl outside your window, and don't mind sharing the pool with the occasional disoriented frog, or getting a paw print of our overzealous dogs on your trousers, you have found your place!

Hawksmoor House Accommodation

Hawksmoor House has 14 beautiful guest rooms in the manor house and in the garden cottages.

The 14 stunning rooms are spacious (25+ sqm), decorated individually, each designed around a colour or theme, and furnished throughout with exquisite antiques and contemporary touches.
The rooms feature:
- Queen-size bed
- Safe deposit box
- Elegant en-suite bathrooms with shower and/or bath & underfloor heating
- Fabulous, complimentary Charlotte Rhys toiletries
- Beautiful garden views
- WiFi / I-pod docking station (upon request)

The manor house contains a grand dining room; a drawing room with fireplace, an honesty bar; a small library with internet access and a farmhouse kitchen with AGA stove & direct access to our herb garden.

The grounds are laid out to include a large lawn, reflecting pond, lavender beds; vegetable, rose and herb gardens, gorgeous wine cellar with fireplace, wine tasting room, and a swimming pool with a view of Table Mountain.

A fence around the entire property provides privacy and security.
Cosmo, Alice and Jack would love to accompany you on a walk through the vineyards to the nearby dam to check up on our colony of around 80 pelicans.

If you are lucky, you might even come across a peacock, a porcupine, a tortoise or a small deer on the way..

If you are looking for a scenic, historic, authentic Cape Dutch farm atmosphere, you will love it here.

We host weddings from 2 - 150 people, orchestrated by our exclusive partner, Wedding Concepts, who offer a professional coordination service and are very familiar with the logistics, the intricacies and the little quirks of our beautiful farm.

Destination:
We are only 25 minutes from Cape Town, surrounded by the rolling vineyards and dramatic mountain ranges of the Cape Winelands which occupy the area around Stellenbosch, Franschhoek and Paarl.

Stellenbosch, a leisurely 15 minute drive away and the nearest town to Hawksmoor House, is a place of great beauty and historical interest.
The second-oldest town in South Africa after Cape Town, it is also one of the best preserved, with a mix of architectural styles, including Cape Dutch, Georgian, Regency and Victorian.
Home to one of South Africas oldest universities, Stellenbosch is the Cape Winelands most interesting and lively town with numerous restaurants, bars, shops and galleries.

Breath-taking scenery, unspoilt hikes, world class cuisine and fine wines await you.

With mild temperatures throughout the year, the Winelands are a wonderful year-round destination and Hawksmoor House is the perfect base from which to explore this area!
