We offer an ideal accommodation for the traveller who requires modern, comfortable luxury in a private setting in the heart of Stellenbosch Cape Town. Our Guests are able to escape the hustle and bustle and instead relax to the melodies of our local birdlife. Squirrel & Vine is a private, fully-equipped, air-conditioned self-catering apartment with an excellent location in Stellenbosch’s historic core. Guests can walk to shops, coffee shops, restaurants and numerous historic sites. The apartment is situated in oak-lined Herte Street, and is one of the apartments in a block of 12 privately owned units in this one-way street.

Squirrel & Vine is 250 meters’ walk from the Stellenbosch Tourism and Information Bureau, and 150 meters from ‘Oom Samie se Winkel’ (around the corner in Dorp Street).

Squirrel & Vine Accommodation

A maximum of three guests can be accommodated.
The living room is air-conditioned and has a sleeper couch (single bed size), television with all standard DSTV satellite channels and DVD player.
The air-conditioned bedroom features an extra-length queen size bed, radio/alarm, hairdryer and digital electronic safe.

The granite kitchen is fully equipped with oven, stove, microwave oven, fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster, coffee perculator, crockery, cutlery and kitchen utensils.
A washing machine is also provided. A private covered balcony overlooking Herte Street has a table and chairs for outdoor dining.

The bathroom has a bath, shower and twin basins.
Secure off-street covered parking is available inside the security complex. Note that open fires are not permitted in this historic part of town - a barbecue and fire place are therefore not available.

Squirrel & Vine is serviced according to guests’ preferences, and linen and towels are provided.

Squirrel & Vine is suitable for guests who travel by car and who wish to stay in the heart of Stellenbosch in a fully equipped, private facility.

Herte Street is a one-way street In Stellenbosch that can only be accessed from Dorp Street. Die Pieke apartment building is on the left hand side of the street, Squirrel and Vine is apartment number 4. Welcome to Squirrel & Vine Self-catering apartment!
