Botterkloof is a 3 star resort situated on the Garden route 5 km from the picturesque town of Stilbaai. Come and relax in nature – and you are 5 minutes away from one of the best blue flag beaches in the world. Swim amongst the breakers or relax in the lagoon. We have 7 self catering cottages from 2 – 4 bedrooms and two lovely Bed and Breakfast units. Botterkloof offers exceptional value for money for weekends, groups, conferences and special functions. Self Catering Accommodation:
We have 7 self catering cottages and they are all fully equipped with all the kitchenware, bedding, braai and toiletry facilities.

THE CHALETS:
RIANDA :
2 Bedrooms both en suite, large lounge with self catering kitchen, kaggel, stoep with outside braai and a wooden deck overlooking Palmiet River. Sleeps max 4

CHRIS HUYS:
4 Private bedrooms all en-suite shower bathrooms, one with own lounge. Large lounge , guest toilet. Fully equipped kitchen, TV, stoep with built-in braai. (Max persons - 8). Air conditioned.

KARINA CHALET:
3 Bedrooms, loft room, 1 bathroom, (bath & shower), fully equipped kitchen, large lounge with fireplace/indoor braai. Fully equipped kitchen, braai on Palmiespruit, enclosed garden area for children or small dogs.
(Max persons - 7)

IRENE CHALET:
3 Bedrooms, loft room, 2 en suite, beautiful braai on dam. plus large lounge with fully equipped kitchen.
Fire place/indoor braai Enclosed garden area for small children or dogs (Max persons - 5)

THE EXECUTIVE B&B SUITES:
Two double size lounge and dining room, extra large bedrooms each with own small lounge and en suite, extra large bathrooms with shower and bath.
Each unit has its own private veranda. The executive’s are equipped with a bar fridge and coffee making facilities - Standard English breakfast included.
Suite can be shared by 4 adults via inter leading door. TV available in dining room. (Max persons - 4)

DIE JOYSIE:
Three bedrooms, 1 double en-suite, 2 single bedrooms sharing large shower-bathroom, lounge with fully equipped kitchen with private outside stoep and braai area. (Max persons - 6)

DIE BOGGER:
Two separate en-suite bedrooms with showers, own stoep, tv lounge and fully equipped kitchen. Outside braai and part of Botterkloof Estate Herb garden and conference area. (Max persons - 4)

DIE KLIPHUIS:
Extra large house with four bedrooms, Main en-suite. 1 double room, 2 single bed rooms, 1 bathroom with shower, Large lounge and kitchen with two large patios. Overlooking olive grove with outside braai. (Max persons -8)

DIE OLYFHUIS:
Two bedroom beautifully furnished and completed in December 2008. 1 double, 1 single bedroom. Overlooking olive grove, private with outside braai, modern kitchen and large. (Max persons-4)

Die SKOOLHUIS:
Large house with 5 bedrooms, 3 en suite plus shower bathrooms, big family lounge with self catering kitchen, kaggel and a big stoep with an outside braai. (Max 10 people).

Botterkloof Facilities

Choose our conference facility for your next conference and we will spoil you at Botterkloof.
Set in an unspoiled paradise of tranquility we have created the perfect setting to map your companies future and for the perfect bosberaad.
Botterkloof Resort is the perfect venue to conduct business with its modern conference centre, offering individual conference tables and chairs, or seating for 60 delegates, and provides high-tech conference equipment.


The centre is fully air-conditioned and contains a kitchenette, and catering for functions will be arranged on request.
We also have a recreational area.

The rotisserie can accommodate sheep on the revolving spit.
The conference centre is popular during the week for business, conference, and over weekends it is a popular venue for church groups. Groups (booking 5 or more chalets) can pre-book their accommodation up to one year in advance.


Meals:
· Dinner can be organized over the fire or from our fully equipped industrial strength kitchen. There are also a large variety of restaurants in the nearby coastal town of Stilbaai.

Transport:
· Transport can be arranged from Cape Town and George airport, rates available on request.

Directions:
Take the Stilbaai Turn off on the N2, (this is between Riversdale and Albertinia) and we are 21km on the right just after the Spuithoek turnoff. 6km outside of Stilbaai.

Restaurants:
La Donna: coffee shop
A very nice Coffee shop, out of season she serves a meal for lunch at quite a good price. Mila's: Good food( can speak German) This restaurant makes quite good food and the one lady can speak German, she is there most of the time.

Cupz Cafe: LICENCED COFFEE SHOP
This is a coffee shop in the fynbos centre, its also licenced to sell wine and beer.

Pizza World: Pizza in Stilbaai
Pizza World sells good pizza for take away but they also have place where you can sit and eat.

Seespens: Great seafood
This is a take away for fish and chips, also sell other seafoods as well as frozen fish at times.

Folklore has it that early in the 18th century, a Stilbaai farmer was traveling to the market with his ox-wagon – loaded with butter vats. In a valley 6km from Stilbaai the wagon tipped over and butter spilled everywhere.
From that mishap the name Botterkloof! In 1994 Gert and Elsa Kruger bought the farm Botterkloof and started farming with ostriches, sheep, beef and porkers.
They setup a meat factory with 5 retail outlets. This business was sold in 2004 and the farm buildings converted to a Conference Centre and different types of accommodation.
The farm consists of 240 hectares of which 30 hectares are pastures. The rest is mainly veld with 6 types of proteas and an abundance of fynbos. There are many walkways with game and large variety of wild birds and waterfowl.

Close to the Beach:
Six kilometers from the Resort is Stilbaai's pristine beach's. Boogie boarding, surfing, snorkeling and swimming all year round. Buy fresh fish daily at the working harbour. One hour away is the Robertson wine route with unbelievable value for money white and red wines
